Akshara came down to enjoy fresh breeze of air when she received a text message from Kirti while replying for it Akshara didnt see where she was going and crashed right with Abhimanyu...Abhimanyu held her so as to prevent her fall.Abhimanyu chuckled at her history with gravity...Akshara on the other hand was just thinking about the fact that she and Abhimanyu seem to be crashing with each other too often.She started to have weird butterflies as soon as she and Abhimanyu came face to face.She didnt understand what it was but somehow she liked his company.....Abhimanyu too was confused.....Did he like her ? No like was underwhelming !! Had he fallen in love with her.......

Akshara (standing up properly)-We need to stop meeting like this !!

Abhimanyu (laughing)-Gravity is not your friend it seems.....Ek sawal pooch sakta hu.....

Akshara (nodding)-Sure !!

Abhimanyu (asking)-Itna accha gaati ho !! Why are you a surgeon ?

Akshara (pouting)-Surgeons gaana nai gaate aisa kisne kaha ?

Abhimanyu (chuckling)-Give me 2 examples........If the reason is personal its ok.....

Akshara (seriously)-Aisa kuch bhi nai hai........16 years ago mere parents car accident mai the....My mother succumbed on the spot par mere papa ko hospital le jaya gaya tha.....He had a head injury ......my family doctor requested the surgeon to get a head CT and MRI multiple times but the hospital was understaffed.......If they had done a MRI they would have found out that there was a bleed inside his brain and could have operated but they didnt and we lost him in less than 4 hours.....It was the surgeon's negligence.......

Abhimanyu (sadly)-I am so sorry.....Did your family know ?

Akshara (sadly)-No mujhe khud bahut late pata chala thats when i decided to be a surgeon.....And after I came to know maine unhe nai bataya because I didnt want them to live on IF's and BUTS....

Abhimanyu (asking)-Aur tum ? How do you live everyday knowing there was a chance......

Akshara (smiling)-I be hundred percent more careful with my patients......So that jo mere aur mere bhai ke saath hua woh kisi aur ke saath na ho......Its a terrible feeling and I would never want somebody wlse to feel it.....

Akshara and Abhimanyu didnt even realize when they had started walking while talking......Time seem to have passed like jet speed....Akshara couldnt understand why she told Abhimanyu about her father,she had never even told her Mami or Mamu and she was most close to them.There was just a level of comfort with him that assured her....She didnt know what it was,she didnt even know what relation they shared......

Abhimanyu was falling deeper in love with her every second....Her smile took away all the pain he could have ever felt....He didnt know whether it was her or her voice but her voice connected with his soul.....There was something about her....She carried this huge pain in her heart but none of it visible on her face.....Akshara for the first time since she found out felt better a bit,like someone had lighten her burden.......

MASK FESTIVAL

Both Akshara and Aarohi were getting ready for the Mask festival.....Aarohi glanced over at the mirror....Her older sister was looking so beautiful.....Aarohi on the other hand was struggling with her dress..Akshara saw that and went to help Aarohi.After all there was nothing wrong in helping....

Akshara (chiding her)-Golu kya kar rahi hai....Buttons ulte hai........

Aarohi (smiling)-Ha woh dhyan nai tha mera......Thank you Di......

Akshara (wondering)-Kis liye ?

Aarohi (with tears in her eyes)-For calling me Golu after so many years......

Akshara was flabbergasted.She didnt even realize when she called her that in hurry..Akshara wiped her few tears and got back at getting ready.....Akshara went downstairs and put the dupatta over her head.Usually she would not be interested in festival like this but since she had returned to Udaipur after so many years she decided to give it a go......Aarohi too decided to go down.... Abhimanyu was searching for any slight hint of Akshara.....He was going crazy since he didnt understand anything about the things his heart was doing right now.....How was he going to deal with his feelings when she starts working...........Akshara was all confused about her heart......Its as if her heart flutters when he is around.....The song started and everybody started dancing......Akshara thought this was fun......

Aarohi too was dancing and was having fun.....Suddenly the music stopped and the announcer asked the girls to open their head cover......Aarohi was irritated to no end to see that "Chamgadaar".Even Neil was irritated to see her.....Both stomped off in their own directions.....

Akshara slowly opened her head cover and was shocked for over a minute....Abhimanyu !! What was Kanhaji doing with her heart.....Abhimanyu was bowled over seeing Akshara......She looked so innocent.....so beautiful.....She was melting every second in his arms......What was wrong with her.....Something was definitely happening to her......She didnt understand it but there was something......The only thing she could think was "Kya rishta hai mera Abhimanyu ke saath".......

The next morning the siblings along with Neil and Abhimanyu got ready to see somethings near.....Neil and Abhimanyu both were curious.....There was some curiosity around all these siblings.....All of them were waiting for Krish and Akshara.....

Vansh (checking)-Mai Krish aur Akshu ko dekh kar aata hu......Kaha reh gaye ye dono....

Aarohi (seeing them)-Arre aa gaye dono......(to Krish)-Kaha reh gaye the aap dono......

Akshara (laughing)-Dada ki wajah se late ho gaye the......Kab se phone pe lage the.....

Krish (holding her ear playfully)-Accha ji khud ko tyaar hone mai late ho gaye aur bill mujhpe phar rahi hai.........

Kairav (laughing)-Tujhe yaad nai Krish bachpan se iski aadat hai bill hamesha hum pe fadti hai bhale hi sharaarat usne na ki ho.......

Akshara (taunting Kairav)-Bahut kuch bachpan mai hi chut gaya hai bhai......(talking to Vansh)-Chale bhai aage........

Akshara walked along with Vansh while Krish consoled Kairav.......Krish felt for Kairav somewhere.He was stuck between his responsibilities and his love for his sister....But Krish could never get away from his anger on his Nanu..His Nanu was responsible for Akshara's hurt feelings.....Akshara was elder and was supposed to leave so that the entire Goenka family could cater to Aarohi.....It was injustice but Akshara had copped well and had became stronger.......Goenkas never paid any attention to Akshara's hurt afterall she and Mamu were so close but No.....

Akshara and Abhimanyu had eyes for each other and both confused about feelings....While Abhimanyu knew he was charting towards love Akshara was not ready to accept that she had fallen in love with somebody.....Krish suspected something was going on between these two but he couldnt say anything with certainty....If his mother would have been here she would have caught it in a second.Akshara avoided Abhimanyu's eyes as much as she could.She wished she could go to work at this second....When she worked Akshara had a tendency to forget everything else......Neil already knew that his bro had fallen for Dr Akshara.....He laughed thinking their mother would be so happy........

Abhimanyu glanced in direction of Akshara......there was something that was running in her mind and heart....But he wanted to be her friend first....He knew she was new not only to the hospital but to the city as well.He had heard her brothers talk about how she was back after so many years.....But he knew that there was something between them.....

In the early morning both the sibling group got ready to leave for Udaipur.Aarohi was happy because she knew that her sister didnt hate her but was just anger at the elders of the family...Akshara was going back in a confused state......She knew there was something but she was not ready to do anything about it yet......Krish gave a big smile to Akshara and Akshara returned the smile to her elder brother..... Abhimanyu came with his bike near their car......

Abhimanyu (smiling)-See you tomorrow Dr Akshara....

Akshara (smiling)-See you tomorrow Dr Birla !!

Chapter 5

Akshara took her Nanu blessings and took off for her first day.Mahima was kind enough to show her around the hospital and introduced her to the interns and residents and the nurses.....Akshara had her first emergency patient at the Birla hospital,Mahima had observed her and was very impressed in how she handled her patients....Today was her first day yet patient developed enough confidence in her to talk about her history.......Mahima always loved how Akshara was very thorough in her work and paper work and patient's history.....Abhimanyu noticed his aunt standing near a patient 's room.When he came in front of the room he saw Akshara with a patient....A smile automatically came on his face......

Mahima (impressed)-She is something else........

Abhimanyu (whispering)-I know tayji.....

Mahima glanced over at Abhimanyu.....He looked absolutely whipped.....Mahima had a big smile on her face....Her nephew didnt look at every girl like this......Abhimanyu was feeling something Mahima was sure of it.......Mahima chuckled looking at Abhimanyu.....He was complete flat on Dr Akshara Singhania.....Abhimanyu saw his aunt and pleaded her to not tell his mother anything right now.....This was not the right time to confess....Akshara felt a flutter in her heart and turned around and felt like Abhimanyu was somewhere around her,she turned around and saw him talking to Dr Mahima outside......What was happening to her ?

Late evening Akshara was just leaving for home when she crashed with Dr Abhimanyu again.....Here she was trying to avoid him.....but how can she avoid him when she kept crashing with him all the time........Abhimanyu held her to stop her from falling....He looked at her,it was so difficult to not smile seeing her cute expressions but he had to refrain.....

Abhimanyu (worriedly)-Are you alright ?

Akshara (chuckling)-Yes I am fine....Sorry for crashing Dr Birla......

Abhimanyu (laughing)-Akshara trip se le ke aab tak tum mere saath 3 baar takra chuki ho.....I think Abhimanyu is fine.....Aur itni baar bachane ke baad dost toh ban hi sakte hai na......

Akshara (smiling)-Bilkul dost ban sakte hai.....Abhimanyu.....

Akshara sighed a relief when she reached room.....She was so tired today.....But it was good first day.Whenever lives are saved it is always a good day.....Akshara felt odd coming home to everybody today......She had a habit of living alone for many years now....It was almost as if she liked living alone....When she reached home she found a car in the parking which didnt belong to Singhania's......What is it anybody from Goenkas ? She decided to act with calm and cool if it was indeed somebody from Goenka family.....She was tired and exhausted and had no strength to fight.........When she reached the living room she saw Manish Goenka.......Her grandfather sitting with Naksh Mamu and Mami......And she saw Nanu at a distance.......nanu had stopped talking to Goenkas entirely once she had joined them in South Africa.......

Akshara (greeting Manish)-Radhe Krishna !! Aap yaha kya kar rahe hai.....

Manish (looking at her and asking Kirti)-Is this our Akshu Kirti ?

Akshara (seriously)-Akshara......Akshara naam hai mera......

Manish (sadly)-tum bilkul aapni mumma jaisi deikhti ho.....Bilkul Naira jaise.....

Akshara got teary eyes hearing her mother's name but wiped those tears off.....She didnt want to be weak infront of her grandfather....After her father's death,Aarohi had become uncontrollable due to panic attacks and hence Manish and Akhilesh had asked her to go away so that they could concentrate on Aarohi....They had first asked her to choose a school of her own choice.....They had blatantly ignored her grief......by asking her to move to hostel just 2 weeks after her papa's and ma's death.....Than she had informed her Mamu about this and Mami had came and took her away.......She had received no phone calls from them while growing up,just they sent money for her......She had sent the money back immediately....She looked away from Manish.....He was making her remember her pain.....

Akshara (seriously)-Mami mai fresh hoke aati hu......

Kirti (smiling)-Tu fresh hoke aa jaa hum sab saath mai khana khate hai.......

Akshara went away to her room to freshen up.....She might have cried few drops in the shower....Even at that time she had understood that Aarohi needed more care since she was little and had just lost her mother and father but to ask her to leave because Aarohi needed more attention had broke her heart into millions of little pieces.......She knew when she moved back to Udaipur that she would have to deal with them......When she came downstairs everybody was already seated at the dinner table and waiting for her.......She smiled seeing all of them......

Naksh (smiling)-Kaisa raha aaj ka din Akshu ?

Akshara (smiling)-Exhausting and so good.......

Krish (chuckling)-Exhausting and so good interesting choice of words......Not the kind you would expect in one sentence....

Akshara (with big smile)-Jab kisi patient ki death nai hoti the day is considered to be good.....

Akshara (smiling)-Aapko unki chinta karne ki zaroorat nai hai Mami.....When I had decided to move back to Udaipur I knew I will have to deal with them......Its alright......Lets eat....insaab ke baare mai baad mai baat karege.......

Akshara (nodding)-Ji mamu....

Early in the morning Akshara received a call from the hospital stating there was a accident case and the woman was pregnant 4 months.Akshara rushed to the hospital with Krish who had insisted to drive her and not take a cab....She left with Krish leaving a note for Kirti.....Krish dropped her and left for home.....Akshara decided to start taking a car so that her brother wouldnt have to drop her every time she had night time emergency or night duty.....Accident cases usually did affect her little bit....Even though she was little she remembered a lot about her father and Sirat Ma's accident maybe more than her elder brother Kairav.......

It had been a 4 hour surgery......Akshara was extremely thankful to Kanhaji for helping her save the patients life.....It was a critical case,the patient had lost lot of blood.......She knew she was a surgeon but she would never want a mother to die any mother......She had seen first hand how losing Sirat had impacted Aarohi.....She herself had lost 2 mothers.....She tried her hard best to not let the loses of her life impact her but sometimes it did.....Abhimanyu saw Akshara in the morning in the hospital coming out of operation theater.......He was going in for the surgery......

Abhimanyu (seriously,seeing blood on her scrubs)-Is that ?

Akshara (replying)-Not mine...patient's......

Abhimanyu (getting ready)-How long were you in the surgery ?

Akshara (tired)-4 hours......Accident case....

Akshara passed a smile to Abhimanyu.....Akshara who was at this point extremely tired ordered her residents to keep a watch on the patient and if anything felt off to call her immediately and to concentrate on the vitals and reports of patient rather than playing games on cell phones.....Abhimanyu was amused.....She was so tiny sometimes and her being so strict with residents......who were scared of Dr Akshara made him laugh hard so much.....And when she pouted .......he literally wanted to kiss her.......Abhimanyu chuckled behind the residents which made Akshara furious....

Akshara (getting little angry)-Isme hasne ki kya baat hai ?

Abhimanyu (laughing)-Koi baat nai hai.......Its just that you threatening them makes it little funny....

Akshara (pouting)-Whats so funny ? Would you rather that they not concentrate on patients ??

Abhimanyu (chuckling)-Its just that sometimes when you get angry you tend to look cute.......

Akshara stormed off since her cab was here.....She looked cute when she got angry !! Abhimanyu was still smiling when she left......She was so so cute sometimes.......Akshara when she reached Singhania House saw Kirti right there by the living room.......Akshara freshened up and than sat next to her aunt/Mami and decided to ask her........How dare he call her cute !!

Kirti smiled seeing her daughter smile so wide after such a long time........She hoped that whoever the person stay with her forever.....Since Akshara needed him.........
