We have been trolling all the characters starting from Akshara to Mimi every freaking characters. The writers messed up big time n the blame is on everyone, n I won't start pointing things here.

They initially made Abhimanyu a great character further they went n did everything opposite to what they claimed his character would be namely saying he won't marry anyone to going n proposing Aarohi etc, etc.

However Akshu stuck to what she claimed she stuck to her fam from start to end however toxic they were n she always thought of bigger picture.

We roast characters not actors that too just for fun.

On which rock is it written if we watch a show we are obliged to be only full of praise and appreciation for whatever crap the writers dish out? If some of us enjoy picking up on the loopholes and craptastic plots and unrealistic behavior, why on earth should it steam anyone else’s clams?

And ugh this delusional excuse of “protecting” Harshad’s feelings - as though he is some naazuk child🤣 Acting is not a profession for the faint hearted and thin skinned - I’m sure he’s dealt with worse and more personal criticism from creatives, directors, critics etc. Give the man some credit - geez!

I enjoy talking about the characters I watch. I've always liked listening to and reading stories, and critiquing the plot, story, character, etc. is very natural when we watch something.

In fact, HC himself trolls his shows, his characters, other characters, etc., though he's also very attached to his characters. He's said that he becomes the character and the character becomes him 😆 But that's onscreen only. Abhi's actions being trolled doesn't mean that Harshad is trolled.

It's cool as long as Harshad the person isn't bashed. And people here know the difference between Harshad and Abhi, so it's all cool.

I really wished they didn't show the office dance on the day Akshara joined the Birla hospital, and the bike hand grabbing. There are several other utterly idiotic things that the show dishes out, and it's absolutely right that it gets called out.

This show has been on-air for 13 years now, and the makers think they will get TRPs irrespective of whatever they show. I don't see the "creativity" that's needed for good story development and that needs to be said.

From what I've observed of the director and the DOP, as well as the creative department, they're giving him directions to make things more dramatic. 😔

And he's had to post regularly on social media too, sharing Behind the scene stuff and Abhira content. He must be hating this, since he's strictly averse to social media. But he can't say no when they ask him to do social media promotion. 😆

Eek that sounds awful - poor HC! I'd hate to be forced to post on SM - the things we have to do for the people who pay our salaries...

So here's a...weird observation. I recently rewatched a few episodes of BP and I feel Harshad looks different in two specific ways. In YRKKH he looks taller - very long and leggy compared to BP. And his nose looks kind of different. I wonder if he broke it at some point and it reset a little different?

Am I just imagining this? I wouldn't have realized if I hadn't watched an episode of BP right after yesterday's YRKKH but to me these differences were quite striking. If he has figured out a way to be taller, I would really like to know!🤣

He's obviously lost a lot of weight and toned up a lot!

I think he looks taller in this show because Pranali is shorter than Jennifer?

But he was very very lean in BP too and the weird thing his nose also looked skinnier and sharper than it does now. In YRKKH his nose looks a little... blunter (for want of a better word)? Could be makeup or lighting but I doubt it's his weight (that was a dramatic change but he's been pretty consistent there since Humsafars which I think was in 2015).

He's very athletic and that's why I wondered if he broke it. Happened to a friend of mine who then had to get plastic surgery to correct the break but it subtly changed the shape of his nose.

Good point... and in BP Jennifer wore these hideous high-heeled wedges all the time whereas Pranali seems to wear flat sandals and slippers. But I noticed it specifically in his solo scenes. It's something about the proportions of his upper body to his legs.

listen I fell for HC when he was Prem Juneja and became chicken tandoori in Kis Desh…I still cry thinking about that scene during Veera’s wedding when Heer imagines him 😭😭😭
