When Ayush Agarwal Was Mobbed By Girls

Ayush Agarwal a.k.a Mohit of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' was recently caught in a mob of girls. They not only yelled at Ayush but also grabbed him and lifted him high. How? When? Read more.

"On July 31, I was invited at S.N.D.T college, situated at Malad, as the chief guest to inaugurate their students'council. As S.N.D.T is a girl's college, everyone over there except a few was female and as soon as I entered the college premise, the girls started calling me by my character name Mohit. It was such a lovely experience that I felt overwhelmed. I have come across many such incidents before but this one was heart warming." Why not Ayush, it has to be heart warming as it was S.N.D.T College of girls.

"Soon the function was over. About 500 girls were waiting to click a snap with me. And 250 more to get autograph. They gathered in one place and suddenly grabbed me and lifted me high. I could even see the broken stage, chairs upside down, and those lovely girls raising their voice for me from above. It was amazing to be there at the occasion", signs off Ayush.

Akshara's Column: I will be a bua soon

Looks like our prayers have been answered as Varsha and Shaurya bhaiya will finally have a new member in the family very soon. I am very happy for them and feel on top of the world. Along with them becoming parents, I too will have someone who will call me bua (aunty).

Varsha didn't disclose it to my mother in the initial weeks of her pregnancy as she didn't want my parents to cancel their trip to London. But just when my parents were heading to the airport, our family doctor called my mother to give her the good news, so mother decided to cancel her trip.

We don't want Varsha to take any stress. She must relax and take ample rest. I was a little worried about her health when I met her the last time as she was looking very weak. I then contacted, Dr.Pratibha Lokhande, who practices in Pune to find out the guidelines to be followed during pregnancy which keeps both the mother and baby healthy. I am sharing some of the tips given by her for the well-being and good health of expecting mothers.

1. Eat at regular intervals as you are likely to feel more hungry when you are pregnant.

2. Don't stay on an empty stomach as it might result in acidity and then vomiting.

3. Contrary to the popular norm, pregnant women shouldn't be eating spicy and salty stuff like pickles and tamarind as it leads to acidity again.

4. They shouldn't lift heavy things like bucket filled with water and other weights.

5. They should take ample rest for healthy breeding of the child.

6. Family should love and pamper the lady which in turn will help the kid to grow healthy.

7. Minimal exercise like walking is good. This not only keeps the mother fit, but also causes less strain during delivery.

Apart from this, I also plan to do lots of fun activities to keep Varsha in high spirits like taking her shopping and pampering her with foot massages and delicious food.

I hope this will be useful for the readers and women who are expecting. I am very excited and have shared the tips with Varsha too. I have asked her to take care of herself and avoid doing demanding household chores. She has gone to her maayka and hope she takes ample rest there. Its fun to see Shaurya bhaiya being over protective towards her, which amuses me and the entire family. I am sure Varsha is enjoying all the attention and I hope they have a beautiful and healthy baby.

Karan Tacker refused to play Naitik
Going by the headline, you must have realized that we're talking about two different Karans. The ones in question are Karan Mehra and Karan Tacker. They are better known as Naitik and Shantanu of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Rang Badalti Odhani' fame respectively.

Apart from common name, there is another thing in common about them. Karan Tacker was first offered the role of Naitik, but he declined. One Karan refused, while the other didn't. Tacker was the first choice to play Naitik. Back then he wasn't too keen as he was supposedly eyeing Bollywood. Karan Mehra, however, grabbed the offer.

They also grabbed him and lifted him high. How? When?. Well, on July 31, he was invited at S.N.D.T college, situated at Malad, as the Chief Guest to inaugurate their Students' Council. As S.N.D.T is a girl's college, everyone there except for a handful, were females and as soon as he entered the college premise, the girls started calling my character name Mohit. It was such a lovely experience says the actor.

Naitik aka Karan Mehra
Tulsi and Mihir are my favourite on-screen couple. They set the screen afire with their fabulous on-screen camaraderie. The entire look and feel of daily soaps transformed after the launch of popular soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, in which they featured as a couple. The entire nation simply fell in love with them.

Shows we want back

Buzz up!

Television shows in the 80s and 90s were immensely popular with the audience. They served as the platform for the shows we have today, be it a comedy, a drama or a narration. Although they are off air, they haven't been forgotten and many of us still reminisce these shows. With Doordarshan bringing back the main protagonist of Wagle Ki Duniya, it would be great if other legendary shows could be brought back. We asked some of our television actors, which show they would like to watch or be brought back.

I want to see Hassaretein once again. It was an excellent drama. The show was ahead of its times. I want to see Yeh Jo Hai Jindagi as have childhood memories attached t o it. To get back Dekh Bhai Dekh would be a novelty too as it was a new age show.

Akshara's Insecurity To Be Extended With --

As per the recent track of Rajan Shahi's 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', Akshara's (Hina Khan) insecurity is increasing regarding the relationship of Sneha (the one working with Naitik) and Naitik (Karan Mehra). Apparently, the feeling of possessiveness will go on increasing with the entry of Sneha's mother, essayed by Priyanka Shrivastava.

A source says, "Sneha's mother named Shraddha will soon enter the show and will play a lead role in getting her daughter married. But initially she won't understand why her daughter is rejecting the wedding proposals that are coming but later on she will know that Sneha is in love with Naitik. The truth that Naitik (Karan Mehra) is already married will not be disclosed initially. And along with that Akshara will feel more insecure about her husband's relationship with Sneha, though Naitik didn't say anything about her. On the other hand, Sneh has told Naitik that she hails from a very conservative family and hence her working with Naitik should be kept a secret".

"But once Shardda (Sneha's mom) visits Singhania family with the marriage proposal, the truth will be unveiled. Along with Sneha the whole family will come to know about Naitik being married. Till that time Akshara won't take a sigh of relief. But it is also said that if the track gains more TRPs, the suspense might be extended", add source.

When we contacted Priyanka, she said, "It's a very long cameo role and will make an entry within 2-3 days in the show. As I have come over here to ensure my daughter's marriage, the whole suspense about Naitik being married will be cleared by me soon. Till that time Akshara has to bear anxiety".

That means Priyanka enter as a curtain raiser for Naitik-Sneha's drama.
