Military type family lagta hai. Maybe Daadaji was in the armed forces that's why Daadi and Somani are so strict etcc

Rohan's life works by a timetable set by Daadi maybe that was why Vishakha was so scared that Rohan will get disturbed. But the least she could do was cover Sameer with a blanket too. Vishaka-Somani-Daadi - will wait to see their back story especially Vishakha. Sameer is like a fish out of water right now and hope the kids dynamics keep him sane among the insane adults of the Somani household.

I second Rose's idea of k3g style dynamics.

Naina was so good and so was Preethi. Their getting ready, the song on the radio, the news... great acting.

The Agarwal family were so worried for Sameer than his own parents. Dilwale toh Dilli mein nahin Ahmedabad mein hain. Philhal Dilli mein sirf paise wale hain jinke dil kho gaye hain.

Vishakha...I guess Daadi takes away all the money for shopping. Vishakha has to be satisfied with whatever she can find in the kachra dabba of Palika Bazaar.😆

And Daadi said her suit cost $200. I was like...where did she buy it from???? Even today when I buy clothes from the mall...be it Macy's or JC Penny etc...I never see a track suit costing $200...Kounse "abroad" se khareeda hai daadi amma.😆

So, Vishaka did bring Sameer inside the house into Rohan's room. So, no other room was available that Sameer had to sleep in Rohan's room for that night😛. Teek hai.. Vishaka covered Rohan with blanket but left Sameer for himself😲. Sameer is the one who is going through the shock, who is lost - didn't Vishaka think of that ?😕 Rohan ka kaccha neend hai, he will get up with the slightest noise🥱. Sameer bechara 😭felt so lost in this anjaan house. Sameer remembered his mom, the one who had taken care of him always which was his Nanu, the way he tucked him into bed.

Small mercies there, right? Atleast she got him to a bedroom instead of leaving him out in the cold... but yes, the moment she came in she went back to the usual Vishaka. You know what's amazing... from the very beginning she wants Sameer to be the one to adjust.😡 Even today, even when is mentally disturbed and not in his proper senses, she is spouting a bunch of instructions to him... with a formal go to sleep, take care kind of parting shot..😡.

On the whole we can definitely say in all these years she has forgotten how to be a mother to Sameer... in all these years she has managed to not only successfully keep him away from Dehli but has also managed to emotionally disconnect with him. No wonder the mention of Delhi always terrified Sameer... And all her Rohan jaap since the beginning simply shows she has not taken the time to get to know Sameer as she has with Rohan... she left him in hostels and with her father, paid occasional day trips, knows about some of his likes but has limited her personal interactions with him.

Then the next morning she is back with asking the servant to make his favorite dishes... it looks like she has become a good aunt to Sameer. She has a mental barrier when it comes to showing her care for him in front of him, even when no one is looking. Wonder why? She kissed him when he was sleeping and gave instructions to the servant again in his absence... why not do some of that in his presence? Then he will feel cared for? This behavior has led Sameer to keep her at an arms length... now she doesn't know how to get closer to him.

Remembering all the hospital FBs, Uss Raat mein sone ki koshish nahi kar raha tha, meri koshish thi kisi aur duniya mein jaane ki, mujhe poori umeed thi jab meri aankhen khulegi meri duniya waise hi hogi jaise pehle thi - this boy wants to think Nanu's death as a bad dream and when he opens his eyes everything is back to normal. His whole world changed and he is unable to fathom that Nanu is no more anymore. Kal subah phir se Nanu mere saath honge.

I didn't get Bela's logic at all ? 😕Taiji was right being in the same school toh the girls will come to know some day, what is the point in hiding ? Jatka jab lagana hi hai toh what's the point in delaying the jhatka ? 😕

It was sad... Sameer is living the worst nighmare of his life... and hoping that its a nightmare... but alas he will soon come to accept the reality. And if Somani is going to exhibit his insensitivity towards the delicate emotions of a teen then Sameer will toughen up.

So sweet of Chachi when Preeti says 'Aaj khaas din hai na' 😛and Chachi is so sweet and so happy for Naina' aaj bhi award mil raha hai tujhe' 🤗Bela and her love for Naina is so heartwarming.❤️

After Nanu, Bela has become one of those oh so positive characters in the show... loving her more and more. I always thought Preeti was a few months younger than Naina... so imagine a young Bela with a 3 year old and pregnant, yet she accepts responsibility of another new born... and manages it with great grace... manages to find that zone where she treats all the 3 as her own... manages to instill love and confidence in a motherless child that she can now happily spread her wings in this house... she feels secure in their love. Such a selfless person! Hats off to Bela! 👏 Even today she was trying to shield the girls as long as she can before they fond out the truth... she is so sensitive to their feelings. And today Bela and Taiji felt bad for Sameer too... how nicely they mentioned he was in the same class and he had spent so much time with them... they were genuinely sad for him... honestly these people would have helped him overcome this tragedy better then his own mother! No wonder they showed him kicking the bag of rice... after he marries Naina this family is going to become his real family. 😃

And what a contrast to Vishaka.... Vishaka sacrificed her son's well being to raise her stepson Rohan and even today Somani has the temerity to sit in front of her ans say it was all his mother's doing... ungrateful family that is.😡 Maybe she was under pressure... maybe the Somanis first agreed because they wanted a mother for Rohan but later emotionally tricked her, much like what we witnessed today... and she never understood their motive, in turn harming her own son and depriving him of a mother's love that is the birthright of a son! I'm sure she is guilty of it now, but still unable to do anything, because as a character she has no voice in front of her dominant husband.

Such a sweet Niana-Preeti scene... Preeti wanting to learn about pyaar from Naina, the pyar ki devi ! 😆Naina counting her judai 3 din ke baad, bahatar ghante = 4320 minutes ! H ow she is going to fail in Math if her calculations on the fly are so amazing ? 😆

She wants to be angry with him for not meeting her and wants to not talk with him for 10 days, pyar wali sazaa.. Aww... 😳

Preeti teasing Naina, will it be 10 days or 10 minutes ? 😆 Preeti advising her not to call Sameer by his name and call him , unhe, unko - Lovely lovely sister talk about Sameer 🤗

And what lovely conversation between sisters... how cute that Naina is not angry but wants to pretend... goes to show how much she loves Sameer... in her view, he stood her up yet she cannot get mad at him. 😳 And loved hoe she reminded Naina that she had troubled Sameer a lot in the wedding, now she should not get angry for such small things... Preeti and her support for Jeejaji will be lifelong. And even Naina now silently acknowledges that she did go overboard and troubled someone who loves her unconditionally... it was so nice to see that small scene today. 😃

Loved how Naina's VO was the one to give Dadi's introduction. It gave so much positive vibes about Samaina's future, although they will have loads of trouble in between. Naina's chirpy voice was the need of the moment in the gloomy new world of Sameer. She addressed them as Sameer ke daadi, Sameer ke Papa and earlier during the Mt. Abu trip she she did say Sameer ke Maa. It feels so nice hearing it from Naina about Sameer's family.

True... gave the story a much needed positive outlook...maybe Sameer was successful in changing their opinion of him... I'm eager to see Somani eat crow in this instance... 😆 Again that chirpiness is such a contrast to Sameer's who is describing his feelings, his thoughts as he was going through the motions of living those dark days...

Swag se karo 'imported' Daadi ka swagat ! 😉😆O bai, this Daadi is revengeful.. that lady was so funny, Daadi ko kya hua nobody bothered 😆only worry was imported track suit ko kharab kar diya ! 🤣

Naina gets to see Nanu's obituary in the paper and she immediately knows that Sameer wouldn't be able to handle this, she knew he wouldn't be in school and wanted to rush to his home to see him.

Oh the heartbreak... the poor girl literally lost all control. Thank God Preeti held her. I loved how immediately she realized how shattered Sameer would be... all she could think of was to get to him. 👏 I was right yesterday. She rushed to his house...

As expected Somani started showing the sautelapan on Sameer, all his empathy gone once they left from Nanu's home😡. Rohan ki parvarish is taken care of Daadi and Daadi never interferes in anything , Vishaka has all the freedom to do what she wants 😕😲- What was Somani saying ? Somani ke sarcastic taunts.. Ya, right, as if everything goes according to Vishaka's desires. He and his mom control everything. If everything went as how she wanted, then why does she treat Sameer like that ? Why didn't Sameer live with them ?

Vishaka needs to be strict with Sameer. Somani is highly irritated with Sameer's existence as his step son. He thinks Nanu over pampered him and he is irresponsible. Arrey bhai, give him time to come out of the loss and then be strict with him. Vishaka as always swayed by his words but doesn't have the courage to do the right thing for Sameer or will she ? Vishaka knows Sameer's fav dishes also ? 😛 Itna time toh nikhala hai to know what he likes to eat and what he doesn't ! She atleast understands he needs time to adjust but will she bend with pati and sasuma's pressure ? Maybe that's why she kept him away in hostel all the time 😕

Yeah... Somani and his insensitive ways! I hope Sameer doesn't recreate his hard, 'I don't care' shell again... this is where his interaction with Naina is crucial... he needs to feel that love because she will be able to keep him balanced, so he can hold on to his wits. She is the only one that can calm him down when he is angry, so he can go back to his rational, genteel, mature self... Anger is his biggest enemy and even though he has learnt a lot about controlling it, yet it does pop up sometimes, like in that match...

The guy is having nightmares when he sleeps, is unable to eat or sleep properly and Somani is concerned about his discipline! 🤔 😲 😡 And his mission to make Sameer responsible... I sincerely hope they show Somani getting surprised at the new matured, responsible Sameer that he is now, that Nanu proudly proclaimed him to be 😃. Sameer matured a lot in Agarwal house... he also learnt a lot of life lessons... hope they show him using all that experience, so he can make Nanu proud and surprise the living daylights out of Somani...Fingers crossed on this. 😛 I so want Somani's 'I know how boys like Sameer are' attitude to take a severe beating! Sachi! 😡 😆

So a timetable runs Rohan's life. Dekhte hai how Rohan's timetable changes because of Sameer !😉😛 Accidental slap toh baari padne wali hai Sameer ko.. Jab Daadi couldn't handle her suit getting spoiled she stole and threw the chain away what will she do to Sameer. Waise, this accidental slap again stupid faltu drama and to make Daadi more angry on Sameer🥱

Rohan sleeping on the sofa seemed realistic, Sameer sleeps all over the place in bed 😆Started on one side of the bed and Daadi ko tapaad diya from the other side of the bed.😆 Rohan obviously got up and went to sleep on the sofa ! This should have been enough for Daadi to show her resentment instead of adding that faltu ka accidental slap🥱.

Will respond about Rohan when I see more of him... for now its clear Daadi knows of Sameer. But the kids probably don't because they have never seen him... now Sameer knows about the kids, obviously ... maybe it was Daadi's orders to never mention Sameer since he was not a part of their lives...

The other day when I saw those photos I was so mad... I was today as well. I know all that will break Sameer even more... that poor kid doesn't have a single photo with his mom, maybe because his mom never gave him enough time to even click a photo. 😡 Even when she came to see him, she was always running, hurrying back to Rohan... Rohan was constantly on her lips... not once did she did and chat with Sameer, except when she gifted him after the head boy competition because he tried his best... but that show of love didn't last.

Also, Rohan's room is definitely more ordered than Sameer... seems more rigid while Sameer's room is more fluid. And Rohan's room is littered with awards, certificates and photos... it does look like more care has gone into decorating it. Maybe Vishaka personally did it... unlike Sameer's room which maybe he and Nanu decorated...

Sameer gets up from sleep in the morning only remembering all his moments with Nanu. Dil and dhimak is full of Nanu for Sameer. Nanu kept him away from all the harsh realities and allowed him dream,Nanu ke saath mere sapne bhi jaa chuke the aur iss baar mujhe sachayi se bachane wale koi nahi tha

My heart broke for this boy in this scene.😒... wouldn't it have been nice if Vishaka tucked him in... then came to wake him up and showed him around the house... let's see what we get from her tomorrow.

Every time I hear Naina's VO I get this impression that Sameer has been successful in keeping the promise he made to himself to always keep Naina happy and smiling 😃 And to do this he would have received so much unconditional love and emotional support from her ... I'm sure she has taught him to dream once more and stood by him to make all those dreams a reality for both of them... and that includes the dreams Nanu saw for him... in his darkest house at present he feels all hopes are dashed, all dreams lost... but first Naina has to toughen up, so she can become that rock that Sameer needs so badly...

I want to see some light hearted scenes at somani home..Kitchen ..Dining Table..May be he not eating and his little sister taking food for him..

Being punctual aside, it is Not necessary that military families are so timetable oriented in their day to day lives.

Oh and that song, I couldnt imagine them using it in the episode because of pehli mulakat hogi but it was apt for the situation.

You guys have all covered most of the things so there isn't much to add but since I was focused on two things... will just talk about that largely

Till yesterday I have never thought deeply about Vishaka and her demeanour...yesterday I was noticing only her in the episode..

Before yesterday... all I concluded from the various exchanges of Vishaka with her Dad, Somani and Sameer... she had come across as a bit of a disciplinarian mom who had issues with her son's recalcitrant behaviour, she had seemed to me who had been swayed by Somani's approach and so could not see the situation from her father's perspective. Before yesterday, I had not seen her as anything other than a strict mom. Until yesterday's episode... I had not thought she was under any duress of any kind..

Her first scene of yesterday...I read a bit differently during the scene and later. Apart from the optics it intended to convey.. I read it first as it was intended to be perceived by Sameer...the sense of partiality that was always an undercurrent in their relationship...but I looked back at this scene slightly differently ( though I may be wrong here) as if she was conditioned to act in a certain way around Dadi which had repurcussions on her relationship with Rohan.. she seemed to be echoing what Dadi says about Rohan
Those words she utters for Rohan were somehow not her own but what she is "tutored" to say about Rohan... will try to explain this better once I express my thoughts about the other scenes involving Vishaka...

About Dadi.. I won't write much as the only impression she gave was about how she maintains a iron hand on the proceedings and she will be meeti churi to Vishaka and perhaps Sam too...As if Vishaka's shoulder is going to be used for the targeting at Sam.. just a thought!!

About Somani and Vishaka exchange, I found the look on Vishaka's face interesting when Somani remarks that you have all the freedom as Mum never interferes...interestingly it seems that perhaps Dadi is different with Somani as well.. typically lulling him into the belief that Vishaka has a free reign in her home... I now suspect that Vishaka's shoulders are broad for a reason... 😆

On Somani... I don't know why you guys say that he has "reverted" to his mean self..He was always a bit mean.. Somani hadn't changed at all... He remains the guy who does not have much faith in Sam's upbringing. He is not a monster but I think he only sees what is shown to his eyes..I know the paper stealing incident makes him look like a manipulator but I see that as an incident that allowed him to expose Sameer for his implicit brush with wrongdoing as he perceived the incident, a chance to show Nanu and Vishaka how right he is in his assessment of Sam..That comment about his mom... I felt he is also living in an illusion.

Back to Vishaka... CVs had better have a clear backstory for her diffidence.. She seems like a robot around Dadi, has some spark around Somani and is strange around Sameer.. Who art thou Vishaka?

The funny thing is after all this layering ( atleast it seemed to me).. I really hate it when the CVs just never follow up on these traits after the cryptic clues) They just dont provide the context making it difficult to understand the motivations of some characters.. I have had this experience with the mother's character In Edkv.. till the end she remained an enigma 😆

Also a question... why Vishaka is dressed so austerely in that household?

Sameer is in need of mother's care very much now. To get the care of his close people like Munna Pandit and of course Naina. But he is far from all this in his broken state.

Don't know how he'll get over from it and how Naina will reach him.
