Ishita is wrong in slapping Raman. Raman and Ishita have neither resolved their differences nor have confronted each other about their feelings. So at the slightest trouble they are bound to have arguments, fights and would blame each other for their misfortunes. Raman calling Ishita a bad mother, does not justify Ishita to get physical and start slapping. I can't even imagine the situation if it is the other way and if Raman slaps Ishita. In the same way Ishita should not have crossed that line.
From Ishita's pov, Raman is cruel in his words and this was one too many times. She lost it, slapped him and immediately apologised. Remember she is the one who always says ye Marne se kya hoga Raman..baatho se samjhate hai... So Ishita's character is justified.
Finally loved both of their reactions, especially Raman's :). I was on the edge of my seat when the slap happened to see what Raman does because let's face it.. It is RAMAN, the RKB.

Coming to the actors, they nailed it. We all know they are the only reason the show is still on.

Please feel free to call me an idiot if you think so ;) .. Just wanted to put another viewpoint.

After slapgate I think it was the most justified slap yet. Ishita probably did it so Raman came to his senses but he didn't. Raman was saying things even her worst enemies don't say like Nidhi and Shagun. Whats worse is Ishita only left 7 years ago because of Raman and now he uses that as an excuse 👏 so Raman is the hypocrite with a big ego. He was the person who ousted her from the house in the first place and even when she came back 7 years later he tried to oust her from the area and property she was living in.

Slapping is plain wrong. It's domestic abuse, in plain and simple terms. A man slapping his wife after an argument is seen as the WORST thing in the world, and IT IS, but so is a woman slapping her husband.

For some reason in our society, women slapping their husbands, or women in general slapping men, is seen as not a big deal, whereas men who slap women get punished severely.

Shouldn't the punishment be the same, in a truly feministic society, since feminism actually means "equal rights" and not "women are superior"?

Exactly, you have put your thoughts with such clarity.. : respect.
Normally, in our society a wife slapping her husband would only get abused in return. Nobody is going to realise their faults with getting slapped.

i will not say anything about yesterday
But here i agree with u
This is main problem of our society
Sirf naam.ke liye equal h hum
But practically we r not at all equal
For example that broom scene jaha ishita ne raman ko puri society ke saamne broom se mara tha to sabko wo funny laga tha
But agar hum iska ulta karte to wo domestic violence hota aur raman jallad monster atyachari aur pata nahi kya kya hota

Ek bollywood movie mein heroine ne ek dialogue bola tha agar koi mard aurat ko thappad mare to kitna jalim mard h aur agar koi aurat mard ko thappad mare to mard ne kuch galat kiya hoga dono waqt hum mard ko hi galat batate h jo galat h

Sadly if we start counting Raman's mistake it would be too long. But Ishita should have involved him with the whole baby exchange fiasco. We discuss with our family even small things affecting us. She tried to outsmart a criminal and it backfired. Raman one upped her and started lashing out in grief and started the emo abuse. Now ishita one upped him and started physical abuse. Atleast she apologized. I am waiting for what they would do to each other next. 👏
I suppose it should get worse for it to get better.
Is it naivete that we still care and continue to watch the show.

This all started due to Nidhi thinking Raman rejected her due to her looking ugly in arranged marriage but reality was it was Nidhi parents and Raman parents fault for Nidhi getting into this revenge mindset. If Ruhi wasn't kidnapped Ishita would have been Pihus mum.

Raman deserved a slap since when...he deserves it for all the verbal abuse he had given her

Despite his natural aggression, Raman has never slapped Ishita so it was absolutely wrong of Ishita to slap Raman. But then this is a new emerging scenario in today's Indian society - in my city itself there are at least 3 Battered Husbands societies who protect men like Raman from daily physical abuse from their wives.

Ishita can slap Raman and it's not domestic violence, fans are clapping for that scene...this is tv's feminism which as fake as the mentality of writers and fans combined 😆
