Well, I don't know how any of us expect anything out of this show anymore. In terms of balance there's none to offer. Raman or any Male lead on any show is a mere bystander while the ladies on the show solve issues. If I was the writer, I would make Raman do all it took to bring Ishita and Pihu closer for the story to come full circle, because when the show started it had been Ishita who had bought Raman and Ruhi together. But here I don't think that will happen.

Then again I do not think that we can assume a lot out of some Raman scenes shot together without knowing the back story. Moreover I don't take a man crying as a weakness. Raman loves with a passion...and as he had himself said that Pihu had become the reason he lived after he thought Ishita had died. And with or without that reason, Pihu is his daughter and as a father he is going to be distraught.

I just hope they go beyond the family members, Raman and IshRa crying and make them put in efforts, SENSIBLE efforts to get her back.

@bscorp and Priya - I think your predictions are bang on. Ashok or someone else will Raman at the bar and make that plan. And the same track will apply as had happened with Adi, if Raman is taken to the police. I just don't understand how they will thread Pihu's track with this.

But the tracks go on like this over and over. Ultimately IshRu will do everything while he stands by.

Haan yaar, he is done with crying bitterly, next is drinking & then shouting & then will be back to crying soon, after Mani serves him with a defamation notice. It would need a lecture from Ishita or from Ruhi asking if he is not able to handle himself, how will Ishima feel and Ruhi would assure her help in making Pihu understand.🥱. Raman will be proud of how his daughter has grown up & is matured. Next, he will promise Ishita that he will bring Pihu closer to her... In between some romance with Ishita. Then again he will start missing Pihu & get back to shouting, crying anddd... the cycle continues until Ishita sets everything right. 😵😵😵.

The good old RKB is no where to be seen... 😭😭😭. The one we see is the bechara, bewakoof types.🤔

Hahahaha you said it all. And the proud part is bang on . And scene will start with Raman looking at her with teary eyes😆. The only thing I can say is "cvs pls go to hell!"

Actually there was 3 scenes of him drinking with different shirts, that's why I thought maybe Ishita is upset or something. Or else there will be only one scene and Ishita's lecture eventually brought him back to reality, because he has no brain to think rationally as you said;)).

That's just sad na...thats what cvs have 'changed ' in yum post leap..earlier it was only ishita solving problems and raman and others standing by or worse creating the probmens...now post leap...ramsn has adi for company in crying and doing kaands while ishita has an apprentice in ruhi to solve those family problems..
What could have been a nice watch with raman slwly bringing pihu closer to ishita..adi ruhi acting as catalysts...even few days of this followed by big drama would have made pihu more relatable..as a kid who warms up to a good woman ..as a acquaintance and then realized the truth..and is torn between both her family and the woman she thinks is her momma..
This premise is now a mindless game of Chinese checkers..and who takes revenge from who and who goes to jail..and all problems end up being solved by ishru...🥱

I agree Anku. I badly wanted Raman to own up to the responsibility of revealing the truth to Pihu & getting IshHu closer. I am pissed of now because, for a good 3 weeks, we got to see the Raman who was ready to don the mother role for Pihu & genuinely wanted to get IshHu closer. He did all that was possible from his side. Now that the kid is gone & is in the wrong hands, should the junoon of the father not be such that he fights back using his brain & teach a lesson to shagun?
I understand his pain as a father, I feel sad for him, but then I am not able to connect to him crying buckets & sitting helplessly recollecting the memories. This is going to do no good in getting back Pihu.

When Raman ignored Ruhi for 7 years, we were able to feel & relate to the pain of both the kid & the father, even though no great bond was shown to exist between them. Because, though he did not show the love explicitly, we did see his love for Ruhi at many instances. Ruhi loved her Paapa a lot and wanted nothing but his time & love. Here the case is totally different. Raman's passionate love for Pihu is not reciprocated at all. Frankly, Pihu doesn't even care for her father, leave alone loving him. She just seems to have a lot of expectations on what her paapa should do & what he should not. If he does all that, she is happy and just a mere "I love you paapa" comes out, otherwise, in a flash, comes the words "I hate you Paapa". That is where the disconnect comes for me.
This is where I feel that instead of crying repeatedly, it is better they show some genuine efforts being made with which the kids realizes the importance of family, starts to miss the family, bonds with Ishita & then gets to know the truth. Even today in one of the segments, we got to know that the family members are sending emotional messages to Pihu about missing her. Will this emotional attack help them in the long run? 😕

The story is stagnant for quite sometime now. Now all that is left in the viewers is frustration, disappointment & irritation, rather than interest, empathy & sympathy.🤔

What would be sensible was, that for once they would exhibit law correctly. They should have made Raman and Ishita approach the court for visitation rights. And Pihu should have been allowed to meet her family few times a week. She could live with both Shagun and the Bhalla's and gradually learn the stark difference in them. They could show her bond with Ishita, Raman and Adi Ruhi gradually make her realize that Ishita is Raman's life partner, and make her accept that. They could make Shagun fret about losing her and take desperate measures that would fail and expose her bit by bit...and eventually when Pihu knows and likes Ishita better, she could be explained that she is her mother.

This would be a decently long track, which would involve a negative element with Shagun but at the same time it would be logical and as real as they could get.

And the whole Mani angle makes no sense. Whether Mani changes his statements now or not...Whether he's against IshRa or not, Shagun has her name on the birth certificate so he has little importance in the custody battle, here on wards.

Maybe these sequences are the ones where he is disheartened AFTER making attempts in which case it's normal for him to be in agony. Maybe the other scenes where the attempts are being made... are with Ishita and will be shot later. IF that's not the case and these are just scenes where he is lamenting over the lost case and lack of moments to be with his daughter then I totally agree.

We all know IshRa are in pain without their daughter. But now the story NEEDS to move ahead. I just wrote a post earlier of what I think can be done with this track...

Honestly ...post leap no relation is the same and I mean none. They do show good moments time to time between IshRa, IshRu, Adi and Ruhi, Adi and IshRa but had the show not set a beautiful base pre leap I wouldn't be able to connect to them either. Because the scenes that were needed to be shown were missed and that loosens the hold on audience's emotions. They never showed Adi and Ruhi have a talk with Ishita after her return. No talk with Raman after things cleared up with Ruhi's return. But yes lately the children's scene with both parents have been exemplary and the new casts chemistry is just flawless with them. Only thing is...these loose ends and lack of needed scenes after leap have left a feeling of incompleteness.

As for Pihu...they have retained RD but they never utilized her well. They just think her face playing the character will do the magic. But they've given not even one decent moment between Ishita Pihu (not once banked on the charm DivRu have) And they never added depth or gave more insight to Raman Pihu either. At least lately we had their moments when Raman was with her. But like you said the reciprocation of that love hasn't been shown... so you feel bad for the father but you don't know what to feel for the child
