Leo... I disagree with you, but not in the context of this particular post, but about the overall concept of assurance. So please do bear my rambling.
Raman has given Ishita the one thing that she couldn't get otherwise. a child
Ishita has a wonderful family. With all their idiosyncracies & criminal behaviour (Toshiji & Romi respectively), the Bhallas are still a good family to be married into.
Raman has showered Ishita with love & attention, something every woman would want from a partner.
My question isn't why Ishita isn't assuring Ruhi & Raman?
My question is, why does Ishita need assurance in the first place? Ishita wanting/needing/receiving assurance would mean there is some fault or gap somewhere in her relationship with Raman & Ruhi. Which I think is wrong.
And I would like the CVs to stop feeding the insecurity frenzy in the name of TRPs. Ishita, by her own admission is a happily married woman, and has a gem of a child in Ruhi. Her insecurities about infertility and rejection shouldn't be milked for drama. There was a time and place for them to show that (in the beginning of the show), and they didnt cash in enough on that unspoken pain. What's the point in bringing it up in every function?
Yes they need drama, but seriously if there is love, why the need for assurance from either party? Nothing major has happened that warrants assurance (no, I dont count Shagun+Adi as major, because I dont think Ishita-Raman-Ruhi dynamics have 'really' been affected)
Last but not the least, it's Vandita's moment. Even if Ishita+Raman+Ruhi are the leads of the show, they should not make every occasion about them. I do feel for Vandu, her whole pregnancy has been hijacked; first by the financial struggles, then Mihika fiasco and now this. Her baby bump has become a prop.
