Are u like serious..17 ppl just to discuss the shaadi..i would probably die if this happens at my family..and i probably understand that how difficult and important it is for R&B ..i mean hes not one of those who'll do all this stuff but just bcoz he wants to get MARRIED to II and for her happiness will do this... In the South of India an ENTIRE village will go in multiple buses and vans... 100s might go... yep... WE LOVE FAMILY... we dont say that just to get their inheritance😃 we truly want to be connected

WE LOVE OUR WEDDINGS... I LOVE IYER WEDDINGS... I would like to be born an Iyer over and over and over again... nothing more beautiful sexy and romantic than an Iyer wedding😳

Arre i am an indian..staying in delhi my whole life...bt itne saare log nahi aate hai hamate waah jab shaadi decide hoti hai..thats y i was surprised,..

Haan jab shaadi hoti hai tab to its like a crowwddd..saare relatives close friends..and haan filled with buses so i understand ki wedding mein itne saare log hote hai..

Nish I m a North Indian punjabi rajput..gurgaon my base.. Ladki dekhne dikhana is always within the immediate family.. No extended families..
Only after rishta is fixed we have a full blown Roka ceremony..
So this iyer ritual is quite new and fascinating to me.. Can't even imagine so many hovering over at once 🤣
But this difference of culture is what makes us have a rich heritage na.. Proud to be an Indian

Exactly even in our community it happens only with an immediate family and then d ceremony with close relatives when d rishta is filled..

Ye to ekdum different hai..bt i m loving it!

See the Bhallas didnt bring ANY family... they borrowed Iyer's

There is not 100 people only 20 odd... Bhallas brought friends, Iyers mein Bala ke parents and Bua's family thats it...

anyway Iyer weddings are ELABORATE three day things... no dancing singing, just rituals... it happens at a wedding halls where both parties stay over for three days😃

Iyer everything is ultra religious... less showy but more ritualistic... very different

R&B leaned on a wall, he had no chair to sit... Sam's friend and Tan's cousin arrived, with 3 more kids... Akka kids the kids downstairs

There was over 21 people in the living room...

Appa spoke loudly.. "Thank you every one" he said politely

II slid in daze as Sam pulled her "Sit by me"

Tanmay: Arey dulhe ko bhool gaye?

R&B smiled a half smile

Appa went up and shook his hand, "Come on in Raman" he said

"Thank you sir" he said not taking his eyes off the object in red

Glossy and pink.. in red...

Sam got up and hugged her... they all sat around in dhurries where they couldnt find sofas to sit on...

Tanmay Ranjan and R&B sat in one Sam and Bala's Mom in another... Bala's Athai and her husband in another

Sridhar and Bala and Tanmay's cousin and Sam's BF's hubby chatted in a corner... Padma was in the kitchen helping Amma...

Padma brought out water and juice...

Things calmed down...

Appa and Ranjan were talking in a corner...

The kids ran in and out and then everything was quiet

II sat by Bala's Athai... she was feeling her jhumkas... II smiled

Her eyes connected with R&B he saw her watch him and just stared

Sam:Sabse pehle kya karte hain?'

Vandita: Take blessings from elders I guess

The driver brought boxes and boxes of stuff, Amma sat down in shock... as Bala's parents stared jaws dropping

Bala's Dad waved to II "Inge va"

She went

"Paiyyan romba jora irukkaan, he is so handsome" II bent down shyly...

"Good choice, besh besh" he patted her back

Vandita and Bala exchanged a happy look, Bala's Dad was OLDER than Appa YET SO GRACIOUS... SO GRACIOUS...

Bala's Mom hugged her "Dheergayisa sheerga sumangaliya iru" "WISH YOU MANY MANY YEARS WITH HUBBY" she blessed her...

II went over to Ranjan and bent down

"Dont betaji betiyan pair nahi chhooti, hamare yahan" he stopped her physically

Sam: Ishita hum mazaak kar rahe the tum baaki sab se lo aashirwad...

"R&B: She could touch MINE(SOFTLY)😈

Sam: U ARE KIDDING!! (laughing uncontrollably)🤣

R&B WAITED😈... II WAITED TOO😡

The family giggled and whispered... AND WAITED

SHE LOOKED AT HIM LIKE YOU ARE IN SUCH F-----G TROUBLE!🤣

He had a completely bland expression😆

Tanmay: Ishita chaku lao and chop it off (hissing)😆

R&B gently put one leg over the other and sat there smugly😆

II turned and walked away amidst "Ooohs" "Ayyo she didnt" "Arey nahi chhua" "Good she didnt"😆

Vandita: OK hamari ladki ne CPA, MBA aur MS kiya hai😃

Sam: mere bhai ne Masters in Comp Sci aur MBA dono with honors😃

They both laughed out loud

R&B: Did u take Networking?😲

II gave him a

II looked at him like she would lunge and pull his eyes out... and that glint in them... stomp and squish that glint...☺️

Iyer everything is ultra religious... less showy but more ritualistic... very different

This is exciting as well as enlightening Nish.. So looking forward to learning the iyer customs

such an awesome update early morning..wow...waiting eagerly for the next part...plz update it soon...can't get enough of Software Symphonies...what I loved the most about this update was the simple way in which you penned down the excitement, the nervousness and the hulchul that happens in a girl's household when her would-be inlays are visiting..just wow...and the last two para...my god ..so well written..i was feeling as if m the bride n R&B is staring at me...wow...gave men goosebumps...superb
