Remya mentioned how on Varahlakshmi he narrated Shagun never could keep the KC fast for him - he asked her not to do this drama for him - she was measured with the same yardstick as his ex...so no matter what she does she ends up being compared to Shagun? even the dances that they had when he called her light to Shagun' darkness - yes he appreciated her - BUT comparing her with Shagun...do you want to be appreciated or loved by comparision or because of who you are? When she kept a fast for him - he expected her to do what Shagun did, he has been unable to let go of the comparisions, yes he is seeing the good here but does that mean it doesnt get to her? Of course it must. It makes her feel she would always be measured no matter what she does and on that scale she thinks she would loose not only because she came second but because she cant claim one thing which Shagun always can and will - the fact she has kids with Raman which she never would be able to give him...yes she is possessive about him now that much is true which is why Sanjana rattled her. But I think while Raman has stopped SEEING Shagun in Ruhi, he hasnt stopped comparisions. Even this thing - he is measuring her against Shagun which is where Mihir' lines come into play - Kaach and Heera -they may look similar, we could be under the illusion at times regarding them but that doesnt mean they are interchangeable

Remember we had discussed how the lack of follow up scenes is a problem... Its all just to build up drama that's evident... I had hoped this would have been a bit diff..but that's not to be..

That day she had LIED .. she had lied ... because it was to SAVE RUHI .. the one person whom she loved totally ... did she have cause to lie .. YES SHE DID .. cause had she not lied that day .. SHAGUN would've come out with another road block to derail the happiness of RUHI ..

RUHI BHALLA .. the child who kindled love in a heart which was barren of love ..the child who re taught this woman love .. the child for whose love .. this woman was willing to write off her life ...

YES SHE LIED THAT DAY ... she lied to save her love .. she lied for the one who she loved ... YES SHE LIED ...

I have written atleast 3 posts & have in numerous posts & discussions written about this .. this story is written in the format of ISHITA & SHAGUN as a comparo

Here are two women .. who lied .. yes both of them changed names on their phones to hide something .. both of them .. were clandestinely meeting with someone as a means to an end .. both of them were lying to him ...

But the difference is ...

One did it for personal gain .

One is doing it for HIM ...

Just a thot & a kostin here .. is this is a moral science story .. or is this a tale of 2 lovers struggling with their past demons to be ONE WITH EACH OTHER ...

Before I go on .. let me categorically say .. to me the levity portrayed by ISHITA while she is lying is totally WRONG .. yes the lying is justified .. but there shud've been a moment of hesitation or reflection that she was tricking the man she LOVED & was MARRIED TO ... but that's one MISTAKE .. can I look beyond it .. YES I CAN ... does it impact the story >> NO it does not .. Does it compromise on ISHITA the character YES IT DOES .. but it's a redeemable flaw ...

She Ishita has shown that for a loved one she can Lie .. she has said if I don't have a reason I wont lie ... does she have a reason YES SHE DOES ..

Her husband is devastated by the disgusting & immature act of his brother ... her husband is caught in between a 3 party fight .. TOSHI, ISHITA & Romi .. on the Sarika issue ..

Today she comes to know .. the ROMI episode while is breaking & destroying the peace in her family .. its also destroying & damaging her HUSBANDS career ..

The man is at the pinnacle of his achievement he is been made ASIAN BUSINESS GUILD HEAD ... this was a time for him to celebrate .. but he would now have to struggle not only to hold the position .. but the long reaching impact to his career once the press came to know of this ... the impact would be debilating ...

Just recently when he had fought for her license .. the media had buried him .. once again Ashok Khanna had played them to his tune .. by manipulating the system .. at that time .. he had blackmailed Raman with Ishita's license .. this time clearly he would use Sarika & ROMI to make RAMAN STEP DOWN ...

AND Step down RAMAN would .. cause how much ever he would smash Romi in the 4 walls of the house he would stand tall to save him outside ... he would stand tall to protect the girl who had helped him save his wife's dignity .. he would not bother about the cost to himself before he sacrificed for his family ... & Sarika was carrying a part of his family in her WOMB ...

Its this woman .. this WIFE .. this LOVE .. who solicits help from MANI .. & asks him to keep quiet about the same to RAMAN .. cause the moment Raman would come to know .. the game would be out .. Ashok Khanna would strike & then the matter would be OUT IN PUBLIC .. making it that much more difficult to salvage .

Here was a woman who LIED .. but she lied to PROTECT THE ONE SHE LOVED ... brings u right back to the marriage episode .. once before she had lied .. lied for days together .. to keep the one who she loved SAFE ... that time it was RUHI .. this time it is RUHI ke papa ..

That time it gave birth to SIRF RUHI KE LIYE .. this time it will be about SIRF RAMAN KE LIYE .. rather SIRF HUMARE LIYE ...

Raman Kumar Bhalla .. the man was delivered a mortal wound ..when he was left rejected & abandoned .. a man who was a victim of adultery ... was once again at the precipice of facing the same fate.. this time the blow would be even tougher to take ... cause his broken heart with a lot of trouble had begun to HOPE ... today not only the heart is hurt .. it's the HOPE which is BRUISED .. which lies strangled .. gasping for breath ...

Raman Kumar Bhalla a man who suffers from REJECTION , INSECURITY & ABANDONMENT ...

In my Saturdays post I had written about how this man had REJECTED His daughter for 6 years when he went to lick his wounds ...

When he came back .. was it easy for him to embrace .. no .. cause on the first day of having his daughter back .. he was introduced to a DOUBT ... Ruhi might not be his ...

Now connect this to the current track ...on the first day he was ready to show the world he loved his wife .. a doubt was introduced in his mind ... ISHITA was LYING TO HIM ... was RUHI his .. ofcourse .. is ISHITA his OFCOURSE ...

Have written time & time again to understand this track one must know the characterizations of the leads down pat ...

Raman Kumar Bhalla the most complex character in YHM .. he is a reject .. so he rejects before he can be rejected ..

he is Insecure . so he lacks the courage to face his fears .. lest they come true

he is abandoned which makes him possessive .. because of which he rejects what is not his ..,.. cause to embrace will mean he will NEVER LET GO ...

This is the man who is at a cross roads one which he never wanted to be in .. what will he do if what he believes to be true .. that Ishita is lying to him & meeting with Mani clandestinely ... what will he do if the same is TRUE ...

It's a firm war between the heart & the mind .. & the mind is winning as off now in this struggle .. & tonite the mind will shut the heart completely ...

Have written a lot of times .. with the new time band the tracks will echo what was shown in the beginning of YHM & this one will also be similar ..
