I love your optimism and the way you have analyzed every strand of the complex Web that is Ishra.

True, this Web is very entangled. and unraveling it will be neither easy nor a job for the fainthearted. But then our Ishra are fearless and will fight as intensely to be together as they did to stay apart. Can't wait for that to happen, lekin yeh intezaar bahut mushkil hai.

Thank you for reminding us of the bigger picture here. Much needed dose of optimism.

As my hero would say- "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost."
Thank you Bhanu👏

Hahaha ... brilliantly said ... Picture actual me abhi baaki hai mere dost

Wow such a brilliant post. I completely agree. Though we all including me feel the lack of romantic moments, or even a tinkling of feeling. I completely agree, that before they can get on with the Mohabbatein bit, they have issues to resolve. When there are trust issues, misunderstandings, lack of communication etc, how can they get on with falling in love?

Definitely all these tracks that we feel are for drama are for a reason. Though I have to agree that the lack of continuity in the show and minimal screen time to the leads ends up irking the fans. But overall the intention for these tracks is evident. And it clearly shows in the growth of the couple.

Brilliantly written...and agreed to all your inferences.
If this happens, then its really a golden lining. Actually Param and Shagun coming to Bhalla house never bothered me so much.
My problem is with the overall flow and progression of ISHRA story and also that they seem to forget time and again where they stand in the relationship. A big continuity issue is blatantly evident there.
Yesterday, Ishita's screaming and showing off a disgusted feeling was really odd.
Added to that, the scene was very short. I wonder why the hurry. I mean it was an important milestone kind of step from Raman to have chosen to sleep beside her. It surely needed a slower pace. The magic was totally ruined.

Anyways coming back to Ishita's scream...Some time back, she had blushed and had goosebumps feeling the ehsaas of him being her pati. If all those feelings and sensations were true and for real, then she would have only blushed and become shy seeing him so close to her on her bed. She reacted as if he was some stranger.

Anyways, I am optimistic too and after reading ur post, it seems to have gone up...thanks!

Superlative Post Bhanu ...

I agree everything has to be resolved between the 2 for their relation to progress ... Just for the sake of discussion ...

On the trust issue .. heres a thot ... param accused Ishita of trapping him .. he showed conclusive proof that of SMS'es from her phone to prove that Ishita was the one coming on to him ... then he also had an insight on the marriage equation of Raman & Ishtia which was ONLY BETWEEN THE TWO of them
Now if u visit the scene when Ishita is asked to leave the house .. SHE LOOKS BACK AT RAMAN .. she wanted him to stand up for her .. in her mind .. she knew RAMAN knew she was INNOCENT .. even when everything pointed against her ...

( digressing a bit .. but this look back of Ishita's i have always believed thats the look he described when he spoke of Sonali Kotnis .. the big eyes . the tears , the long flowing hair .. the eyes which entreated support & the eyes which showed him how much she felt for him)

Similarly the very next morning .. raman walked up to Ishita at her place & left his daughter with her .. signalling very clearly that he was with ISHITA ... this was BIG from a man who detested adultery & was a victim of it .. he fought tooth & nail not to loose Ruhi to Shagun as she was an adulterer ...
He goes out of his way to prove Ishita innocent .. & does it with elan ...

Now lets look at Ishita .. according to her during the accident track Raman was "in love with Shagun"which was prompting him to take her side ... even after all this .. she stands in court & asks her lawyer not to question him .. as she knew he was not with Shagun ... there was complete trust that the man will not cheat on her .. but he according to her .. he was fighting a loosing battle with his heart ... note all the instances when she is confused about the fact that why Raman was still so in love with Shagun ..
During the accident track note the no of times Raman wants to tell Ishita the truth ..his drunken bout .. all alluded to the fact that he wanted to tell her .. he was given a swear by Shagun on Adi .. but he broke that swear .. the moment he felt his swear to protect Adi was actually harming him & the first thing he did was run to Ishita to spill the beans ... Trust was what he had when he told her U r the only one to HELP ME .. be my strength ..

IMHO Trust between the two was established a while back ... the problem is they are not able to LET GO OFF THEIR PAST BAGGAGE ... he does not trust himself in LOVE ... & she considers herself HALF A WOMAN NOT WORTHY OF LOVE ...

The "chee" ( while i have lambasted it a million times ) if u delve into it its clear ... a woman who considers herself half a woman ... is always scared of Physical Intimacy ... she will always hesitate to come close physically .. since physically she feels she is NOT COMPLETE ... physical intimacy will be the biggest barrier Raman will have to break to become one with Ishita ...

If u see the scene with Ruhi when she asks them about how babies come .. Ishita's reaction is SAD .. she is sadened that she will never be able to give Raman a kid ... but Raman is shy & embarrassed since their relation had not progressed there .. their reactions were completely diametrically opposite to the other ...

Their problem is crossed wires ... hence the writers always show them working in silos ...they need to get their wires joined ... The param track .. this is the first time they are working together .. even though it started with her moving without his knowledge .. but at least they are working together .. thats how this track is important to the romance track ...

This track .. which we fondly call the Romance track ... romance for these two is over coming their past inhibitions .. letting go of their baggage .. the moment they do that .. they will be able to accept each other fully ...

Ruby, always nice to find you in my posts ...

You have aptly explained what I could not through my words.

Trust as I wanted to explain is a multi layered word. I agree that the trust was built between then long ago (I guess anyone can make out easily from your beautiful examples), the problem was and is to some extent the expression of trust.

During Param's fiasco, both the parties did trust in each other, yet a woman was mocked in front of her own family because the man she trusted did not stand up for her. Raman trusted in Ishita and left her daughter with her the very next day, yet he did express it in front of Param or for that matter in front of his family.

Similarly, quoting the example of Ishita's dismay during accident drama when she felt Raman still carried a torch for Shagun or Raman's dillema of hiding things from Ishita ... both the parties trusted each other, thus the hurt ... remember, you are only hurt by people you love or trust ...

My point is about acknowledging that trust. While, they have acknowledged that in a confined space many a times, they have never ever said it openly in front of an audience. This will be a jerk for both Param and Shagun because both of them will plan their attack based on preconceived notions of Raman and Ishita as two disjointed personalities, however, they will now find Mrs. and Mr. Raman Bhalla instead.

Agree with the Chi part. Will write a separate reply in this post for Chi part. I think it irked the entire forum too much.

Lovely post Bhanu, with the much needed optipism!

I agree with Vidya and have no qualms with Param or Shagun in IshRa's life when they will only end up in bringing them closer. Its just the execution of this track which at times is a nuisance and at times downright annoying. Mrs Iyer's half baked idiotic schemes are irritating to say the least! And to my dismay she actually rejoiced in her juvenile acts last night! She seriously thinks that it's bringing IshRa closer??? C'mon CVs!!! You can do better than that please!

In my opinion the two have already realised their misconceptions about each other. Trust is also there and that like you said has to be announced and made obvious to the world because between themselves they know where they stand with each other. Even the first time when Ishita's involvement with Param was questioned, Raman's silence was not because of any lack of trust on Ishita. He was forced to keep quiet because of Param's relationship to the family and the family would need proof more than Ishita's words. Hence Raman let Ishita go only to bring her back once her innocence was proved and also let the family realise how wrong they were about her.

Again this time Param gets access to Ishita's phone. Talk about originality 😕 Its just the treatment of the track that makes me frustrated yaar! Keeping fingers crossed in hope of better days!

And yes forgot to add My Reactions to Ishita's reactions last night. What the heck was that yaar!!! Seriously ek qadam aage lete hain aur dus pechche!!! They act like silly teenagers at times and it kills the entire scene. Her reaction was OTT and did not understand the Cheee after Raman left the room! Done in bad taste

@ BOLD Brilliant ... i totally agree ... they need to start acknowledging it openly ... but that can happen only when they verbalise it between themselves .. Somehow they shy away from actually showing how much the other means to them ...
In fact my yesterdays post .. On Namesake to Nameplate was exactly about that .. but while gestures are great .. as an audience we would need words to gratify the wealth of angst these two have gone thru as well ...
Hence this track ... 😉 ... but yaar the scare is .. its putting off so many people due to poor execution .. aisa na ho .. by the time these two start talking there is no one left to hear ... UGH .. can't believe i am writing negative .. SORRY ..
