Divyanka's mum debuts at Bhopal shoot of TV show

After Bhopal girl Divyanka Tripathi became a household name on TV with her first show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, her mother Neelam Tripathi is also set to act on television.
Neelam, who stays in Bhopal, is shooting for Saath Nibhaana Saathiya these days. She will be playing the character of a school principal, where Gopi bahu (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) is working as a teacher.
We caught up with Neelam on the sets at the International Public School, where the shoot is underway. "It's a great feeling to be a part of this show, and that too when it's being shot in my city. It's also convenient for me, as I don't have to move to Mumbai. I can shoot here and take care of my home as well," said a visibly excited Neelam about her TV debut.
Neelam has also been getting feedback from Divyanka on the phone. "I keep sharing my shooting pictures with her on the phone, and she gives me her feedback and suggestions," she said.
Divyanka was equally excited when we spoke to her. "I am very happy for mumma as I always wanted her to get into acting. I know she can do well in acting. My only apprehension was that actors, who are not playing the lead, are often neglected on the sets. I didn't want my mom to go through that. But Pawanji (Pawan Kumar, the director of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya) is a good friend and I know he'll take good care of my mother," says the actress, who is currently seen in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
