I need to rest my eyes , I've been in I-F since this morning , first in EDT 10 them MOTW 3 and now this , I'll be back in a while...

Since we are on the topic of conversion I'll share this before i leave , this happened with my mom when she was like 7 or 8 years old and once she was travelling in a bus with her uncle and there was only one seast available nad my mom sat next to a lady who started preaching about the greatness of "Her lord" for some odd reason and asked my mom wether she would convert ,( note this , a sane lady asking a 7 year old child , like wtf?) My mom looked at her and said no and hence started this amazing exchange of words;

Lady; My lord is great

My mom; So is my Lord Krishna and Muruga ( Karthikyea)

Lady ; ; I'll convert you before i leave the bus

Mom ; You can try but won't succeed

( if you're wondering where her uncle was during this convo , he was standing a few feet away from them but couldn't hear them because of the crowd)

At the end this lady gives a candy to my mom and leaves and my mom threw away the candy ( thinking it to be laced with some kind of drug that made her to convert🤣) and told this to her uncle who was horrified and asked her;

"Why couldn't you have called me when this stupid lady was talking to you? What if she had kidnapped you or something"

Mom; I would've bit her hand snd screamed for help

Whenever i hear this tale i only ask her one thing ; "why waste a free candy?"

Till the lockdown 1 because my FIL stayed in Mumbai back then and watched it, he left for native just before Lockdown 1 and then I stopped watching, but I was among very few people who were regulars in RK IF forum, so knew how the story was progressing
