I think the show is safe until mid May, if Colors can keep Tantra on air while it gets 0.5-0.4, they'll keep Udaan and with the new leads the show's budget must have decreased. That's partly explains why the leap happened in mid February, it's so that the 3 months grace period ends with the end of IPL.

Tantra was a new show, so maybe channel were lenient.

Udaan is an old show, the channel had given up on the 7 yr leap within 3 weeks even when the numbers weren't that bad.

If channel extend the show post march then it will be due to some other reason,

If show will be on air till ipl is over then we can hope meera is not kept on till end march, they can end chakor role in next 2 weeks. She has already don't one week of the leap.

The 7 year leap was different, it was an extension of the old show, most of the old cast continued. This leap is a complete revamp. With IMMJ losing TRPs and IWL doing worse than Udaan, the channel has nothing to complain about.

I don't mind the show continuing till the end of the yr, I don't watch it anymore; I just care for meera. Just want her out, so we can hope she gets a much deserved break and she can come back with a better show

Others have moved on so i want to see my favourite move on to. We fans are stuck and waiting

I cant close the udaan chapter until meera is part of the show.

Meera's contract is not till March 31. Apparently They have convinced her to do until March 31.TOI stated that she will finish her shoots by couple of weeks.As long as Chakor's presence is there in Udaan viewers won't be able to attach with Anjor. If Meera continues till march 31 than probably she has to do more than 20 episodes. I don't think Meera will be there for 20 episodes.

but even if chakor isnt there, viewers wont attach with Anjor, they could have wrote better for Anjor pre leap and made audience connect with her, they could have killed chakor off pre leap and shown anjor vowing to take revenge, audience would have felt for a bit for her atleast, here they are showing opposite, Chakor is the onee walking away with all the sympathy, if this leap was planned since jan, then they could have sketched out things better,

Exactly dear , if leap was planned well before, instead of wasting epis on imli, could hv shaped anjor better and

showing Raghav- chakor dying saving anjor and AZ before leap , anjor returning for revenge after leap is far more better.

And we and meera would also hv been spared of seeing her playing mother to 19yr old daughter.

if only they could hv done this, neither chakor name would be degraded like now and all will be spared from torture shown now too.

all old fans would have resigned from udaan completely, even if its not on happy note

Uma the sore fact is that they dont know what they are doing. i dont watch the show but from what i have read the episodes have no base, no connection and they are going all over the place.

i dont get why they had to have chakor post leap, why makers want her on the show, when they have moved on to showing a new pair of leads?

meera/chakor wont help the shows falling trps, and anjor getting sympathy too has low chance, bec the way thew wrote out everything makes audience feel for chakor, not anjor. anjor got a luxuries life, doting foster parents, now she has a guy who loves her too, where is the feeling bad for her. it wont work

if makers at all, decide to keep her till end march, then how will that help the show in any way.

meera announcing her exit early could be her condition to channel/ph for her to continue for the current episodes

but fact is her presence isnt helping the show in anywhere
