He is a very talented actor and sincere and he portrays Suraj the best to his ability
But that does not mean I have to love everything abt Suraj, when Suraj needs to be bashed abt something that irks me than he's bashed and when Suraj needs to be praised then it happens too...as simple is that

People often don't distinguish between the actor and the character. VJ is a superlative perfomer. He owns the character called Suraj.. No one could have played Suraj better than VJ.. He with his conviction and brilliant performance has made a character like Suraj likeable rather loveable.. Kudos to the actor..

since people read this thread so carefully and post their kind comments (though i prefer if they do it right here than be generous somewhere else).. posting my views here.

we are expecting too much of Suraj people.

that he should put Chakor above all and all that jazz. or sense when she needs him.

don't you know for Suraj to sense Chakor is in danger he has to turn into baba, gyaani, predictor?
oh well me too is joining snide remarks and taunting brigade coz that's how things are rolling in the forum now!

he is a mere mortal. normal person like us.
aavaihi we were thinking he is a hero. who shares a soul connection with Chakor.

now read it again..
Suraj is a normal person
not an extraordinary hero!
what was shown or happened earlier in the serial is mere mirage! make peace folks. or stay delusional.

regarding the show I think that Udaan does not deserves VJ...just because it is a female oriented show,and to always glorify chakor above every trhing,I think the show had done the biggest injustice with Suraj's character...

All Indian serials are female oriented and male oriented serials if any don't seem to work with the TRP janta.. On television this is one of the meatiest role for a male actor with so many variations within one character.. In most of Indian serials male leads have nothing much to do as the serial progresses, hope Udaan proves to be different and continues to have the meat in the role for Suraj.. Need the balance back..

oh by the way did i mention that even normal persons call sense when their loved ones are in trouble?
there is a reason why mother's love is considered supreme. it is almost surreal how well she can sense the feelings of her child.

so is love of a soulmate.

but hey we are not watching a soulmate story.
this is an ordinary story of an ordinary hero! did i say hero.. no ordinary person.

now shut up all you bashers. and stop the negativity..
Suraj can make out with Imli in the back seat if she gets too frightened. he will be merely soothing her. platonic relationship.
stop looking at everything with dirty prism.

edit: word of wise! never piss off a chilled out Aquarian. i was planning to quit the forum in peace till i could find my connect with Suraj again.

I started watching the show for Suraj and SuKor. i am allergic to tele female leads. they scare me with their mahanta. unless they are flawed i stay clear of them.

so why am i supporting Chakor over Suraj? it was never Suraj versus Chakor for me. they are Sukor.
because of the way she loves. with complete, utter, selfless, all consuming abandon. call her giddy teenager, fool, desperate (i called her all these names)... but she converted me when she broke down and lost her senses when she thought she will lose Suraj (car failure ride). her flashbacks.. from mortal enemies to friends to the moment she truly fell for him... i SAW why she fell in love.

He ran all the way and then held on to bus to protect her.. i cheered.
thrashed goons for her... i hooted.
Soothed her during her drunken escapades... i went aww...
Suraj broke his chains for her... i was ecstatic.
Suraj chose to starve over hurting her... i thought he is god's own Angel.
Suraj asked her to get out of well before himself despite his life being in mortal danger not hers... i got teary eyed.
chose to save her mother over his... i could have bawled.

flashes of pure blinding brilliance.

but i still keep expecting more from him. why? because of the way Chakor moved heaven and hell for him.
something about the way she loves is ... overwhelming.
yes she left him in mela and does lot many stupidities... but she is the one who took on whole wide world and more for him. ALWAYS. WITHOUT FAIL. WITHOUT BACKING OUT. WITHOUT EXCUSES. no reasons given. with no expectations.
not because she is jagatmata.. but because she loved.

she could have called anyone to confirm if he is indeed hurt or fine when Ranjana mis-informed her that Suraj is hurt. she didn't. she just ran her heart out.

when it comes to him and his safety all she sees is... HIM. even if there is a remotest chance of him being in any danger... she will move mountains to make sure he stays safe.
him, his happiness, his life... she asks for nothing more.

the sheer passion, intensity, madness, crazy, stupid love.

call me stupid... i love such love.

and she deserves to be loved the way she loves.

a simple example: i don't need such people who will ask me when i am hurt.. hey you okay? i say yes. and they accept and don't bother more.
i need those angels who will look straight at me and say.. no you are not. tell me about it. i am right here by you for i know you need me.

Chakor is that Angel. one who will stand by her Suraj come what may. reasons, situations, circumstances, life be damned.

let me know when Suraj catches up.
then i will write paeans in his honour.

after yesterday... he just disintegrated right in front of my eyes.
call me negative, basher and other colourful judgements.. i really don't care. i signed up for Suraj and Sukor..
all i see is Chakor now. for the way she loves.

My dearest ZIDDI Nimmi di...😛.how much I was disappointed and the way the character disintegrated in front of my eyes cannot be explained by me in words..😭..I have already passed the testament of SHEER PAIN during those 48 hours after the unfortunate friday episode...its is just that MY FONDNESS,OBSESSION OR LOVE for the character wins over everything...and finally I am at peace...❤️

Regarding,your last FAINT GLIMMER OF HOPE OF SURAJ CATCHING UP..;...😕😕..I humbly advice you to stay tuned and put your stake on the upcoming 'bachva track'...😃.

My instincts never betray me when it comes to my loved ones,may it be some actor or fictional character...

And I am having the gut feeling that the track will re-ignite your obsession...and I desperately want that to happen.

I am a very hungry and greedy soul,and you have already made us taste the blood..😈..with you various works and compilations,dont want to lose it at any cost,just because of the sheer stupidity of the writers...😳

I am feeling that all the nonsense shown in the friday's episode,the Imraj bonding,them touching hands,the eyelock the soft music,the romantic atmosphere...all these was a build-up to clearly mislead the viewers,I am not saying that it would be a dream sequence,but THE MAKERS WANT THE AUDIENCE TO DOUBT SURAJ AND BELIEVE HIM TO BE THE FATHER OF IMLI'S SECOND CHILD...that is why so much hype and buzz created...🤔

1. Big disappointment. He once raced against time to save su--kor mothers, even carried chakor for a portion of his race. Could have tried that but imli devi would have sought that parity with chakor too!!

Hating that stupid suv of unknown origins, leaving which was not possible for him.

2. Udaan had blown & will blow all basic socio-cultural boundaries. This is not how you interact with your jeth. Jeths dont pacify terrified sisters-in-law that way. We must be thankful that they have not shown BhuKa girls compelled to compromise their honour with kamalnarayan in return for mortgage monies. Incest is the only taboo i think is remaining untouched by writers. They very well explore it too before winding up the show. They dont shy, do they? And who better to frame than their favourite sacrificial lamb Suraj Rajwanshi!

3. Suraj remembering chakor's existence could be the smallest face-saving that could be offered after the entire nightout fiasco. Again mere peanuts for su--korians. Going by newer olv's, everything between su--kor look totally meaningless. Artificial "love.

His thoughts are backed by action for his old things only- his old jackets, his old sofa, his old bedding, his old sleeping partner!

Edit: the show will not be taking any positive udaan anytime soon, will be terribly missing you & your art on the forum😭. It has been a privilege to have accessed your writings.

Bashers' bashers are afraid to take the war head-on, esp with you on the team defending the indefensible will be next to impossible.😉 Never mind. You are a creative genius- dont waste your precious energy uselessly. Keep shining always!!

@Nimmi, I am truly sorry to see you leaving! I hope the show will give you enough reasons to come back. I have always appreciated your writing style, with strong arguments, perfect selection of words, overall, very elegant.

I have always thought that Udaan is not worth it of the intelligent people here on the forum. How I wish to have met all of you on a different forum! All shows have issues, but only Udaan is so highly immoral. And it creates so much controversy. We should not even debate if what happened on the last episode was right or wrong. Of course it was WRONG. This is " Common Sense". But more or less people will find justification, even if the hero commits adultery. If we know what is wrong and what is right, we should not bother about such remarks.
