@Siddy, that dialogue about protection, I think he was talking generally, that he always looked after her to not get herself in trouble.

There was a wedding in the village and Imli was making a show out of herself by dancing way too naughty with that guy Chagan and Suraj comes and takes her away. She thought that he was romantically interested in her, but it looked more like Suraj was really worried about her image in the village.

I don't want such a man for Chakor either, she deserves better than her sister's leftovers.

And I don't want Imli to have ever touched Suraj. It makes him so weak. After he resisted her for so much time, in the end she was successful in seducing him! Where is his pride as a man? He gets drunk and sleeps with whoever comes in his way? I can't accept this Suraj as this is not how he was described in the beginning.

Plus, Imli was so young compared to him, just came out of her teenage days with very little brain. How could he? And then to say that he loves her? What mature man like Suraj finds to love in a childish girl like Imli? His love for Imli didn't redeem him, it make him looked ridiculous. Like, seriously, this girl is your soulmate?

Also, Chakor is so obsessed with her litter sister, she talks and thinks about her all the time. Imagine their consummation. She will surly think about the time that Suraj was with Imli, there is no way she can escape from such an awkward feeling. No woman can.

HEY JASMINE HOW ARE U,FIRST OF ALL,A BIG🤗 AND 👏 FOR U,REALLY GIRL U HAVE A VERY INTELLECTUAL AND EMOTIONAL MIND,KYAA QUESTION HAI,NOW LEMME ALSO EXPRESS MY,'VISHESH TIPANNI',ON YOUR QUESTIONS,

1.the consumnation,and baby issue,first things first,suraj and imli were never in an official relationship,it was one sided love on the part of imli,suraj was never interested in her,but he cared 4 her just as a friend,imli was ever all the way lattu on him,ti the extent that if he had ever demanded ;no strings attached,just physical relation' from her,she would have willingly agreed,second thing he didn't raped her,or forced her,the night was weak for both of them,for suraj,he was the hell of a talli that night,when due to the romantic samaa and all,they were so close to each other that suraj could not control himself coz he is a man,[natures designed hormonal defect],imli could'nt control herself coz she was so ever close to her fantasy man,se wanted to live the moment,DONO JAVAAN,DONO NADAAN,PHAIL GAYA RAITA.the child resulted from consensual rather unplanned sex.

2.next,hmmm,HEARTBREAK,well no one deserves a heartbreak,that too a pure soul like chakor,but it was all her fate,i know its just a story but,if god takes something from us,he gives us the best ever,ultimately,whats made 4 us,we get it,it does'nt matters what she deserves,all that matters is what the heart seeks,where it finds peace,and yes ultimately i do believe chakor would get her perfect partner,her soulmate in suraj,what others think does'nt matters,what she thinks matters,

3.suraj's behaviour-hmmm no its not justified,in ahimane point of view,but for a person;s behavourial's justification we have to look fromthe person's point of view,and from his,yes its justified,come on y aar,agar suraj grateful hokar chakor ke charan dho kar peene lage,toh woh abna suraj nahi,koi aur hi lagega,habits can be changed,but nature cant,and yes suraj is the most unexpressive character of the entire show,ther is not a single person to whom he pours out his emotoins,except chakor,that too in some very emotinally weak situation,in the most incredible way,he is like that only-DIL MEIN AATA HAI,SAMAJH MEIN NAHI.and yes dont forget that currently he is the most confused and insane state of mind,just imagine how would it feel,agar har waqt tumhaare gardan par talvar latak rahi ho.

4.and last,honestly,i do sometimes get irked with the fact,but dont forget it was the bachwa jisne imvaan ka patch up karaaya,and if it would not have happened then,sukor ke raste ka pathhar nahi hatta.only just iwant imli to be equaaly blamed like suraj,and sukor can move on smoothly for me coz suraj has repented much more than he deserved in regard to imli;s pregnancy,

toh kya ho gaya he had apast like that,its all past,"NO BODY HAS A CRYSTAL CLEAR LIFE,THERE ARE SCRATCHES."

at least its far more realistic,than a fairytale.😊

@Karaali to me that does make sense...I mean you remember suraj's dialogue to chakor "Humne humesha uski raksha ki hai" Maybe he was talking about saving imli from yogesh...And the bet was his fault so he took the baby blame on him...

So that is the big question now. And why suddenly this topic comes up ??? Only becoz Suraj has to meet Yogesh Bhai for his info...weren't there other men in the gang who can provide Suraj with some info...also Imli is not aware that Suraj lost her in a bet ????

Now where does this lead to ???

In my opinion Suraj has always been a jack**$ , but someone with enough common sense , also its said that he always tried to protect Imli or tried to prevent that Imli made a fool of herself.

To hear suddenly that Suraj lost Imli in a gamble bet is way tooo ridiculous to even comprehend...😲

Is someone like Suraj really capable of placing a girl as reward in a bet and loose her too ??? Although he didn't send her to Yogesh after he lost...
