@Aradhana
I love having discussions - that is why I am on the forum. SO I don't mind any nitpicking. On top that, we are rooting for the same couple.

Imli and Vivaan were mostly friends through Chakor but they were still friends.

@Aradhana and Siddy

May be because I have missed some of the lovey-dovey Imli-Vivaan scenes onscreen (just read the update), I am finding Vivaan's character assassination a little unjust. He has lost everything due to no fault of his, is saddled with a wife like Imli, and an ex like chakor - who is intent controlling his life even after leaving him. He is now tying to reassert himself and get his love back. We would probably hate more if he cried in the future but had never tried to get Chakor back after knowing the truth.

When I see him, I feel bad for him.

I feel Vivaan did what he did with Imli - under the assumption that Chakor betrayed his trust. Now that the assumption has been proved wrong - he is re-adjusting.
While he thought Chakor had moved on with Suraj - he attempted to do the best with what he had - Imli. And whether you love a person or not - contact with them in intimate situations is awkward (Vivaan with towel, needle, etc) - he looked more awkward than romantic. Also knowing Imli's self esteem was low with all the insults during the swap - he paid her compliments to make her feel better and the assurance that he is there for his wife.
Als o he does not know Imli loves him. He may be thinking - Suraj loves Imli who is carrying his baby! Chakor and He love each other - so this is the best time to talk through this.
Vivaan comes across pompous and stuffy - but his heart is in the right place. Suraj showed Chakor she cannot manage his life for him. Vivaan happily allows her to manage his! Which is why I like Chakor better with Suraj 😊

While I agree that Chakor should not interfere in Imli and Vivaan's marriage. I really am sick of his constant flip flopping, he has been doing this since childhood sometimes he trusts Chakor and other times he treats her like dirt. This is why I don't believe he ever loved Chakor, there is no love if there is no trust and he has proven many times he does not trust her.

In regards to Imli, Vivaan is being unfair to her. I know they were both deceived on their wedding day but he made the choice to be there for her and her child, you cannot just ditch her now that Chakor has been proven innocent in his eyes.

I can't do a character analysis since I hvnt watched Udaan / Vivaan in so much depth! But what stuck me was he beating Suraj black n blue the previous night saying Imli is his wife n hence Suraj can't take liberties with her n then the next night he wanting to get back with chakor! That's double standards isn't it?! 😆

@Mandy - I agree about Vivaan's flip-flopping love. I think of it more as dependence than love - which why he distrusts her so easily, he fears losing his support system.
I also agree it is unfair on Imli but he does not know Imli has fallen for him. He does not know Imli has taken their friendship to another level on her end.

From his POV, he can provide for Imli and the child financially and personally move on with Chakor.

Helping Imli in her darkest should not become a nightmare for him for the rest of his life.

@Maty
Hi Maty - I barely watched any tv for a month and now am getting back to my shows. 😃

May be I am seeing things a little differently. How can Vivaan trust Suraj's sudden love for Imli? Audience has seen it coming (sort of) but Vivaan had no idea. His dialogues about "Suraj keeping away from his wife" were more to indicate that Imli is under his "protection". I didn't see any possessiveness there. He spoke similar dialogues immediately after the swap marriage kand.

Hi Katori!!! Vivaan as I can c has been from the beginning portrayed as a very weak character - being a drug addict n all. But still I felt if he thinks Surah has no rights on Imli whatsoever bcoz of her being his pathni then he automatically loses rights in Chakor as she is someone else's pathni too!!! That's all I say! I am not talking abt possessiveness or love or protection here. Just the dialogues!!
And so u r back to tv after ur month long tv detox!!! good for the forum n the discussions!! u already roughed up too many feathers with this post!!! welcome back!! 😆

To be honest - Chakor did remind him in the same scene that she was Suraj's wife and Vivaan declared they deserved each other. I like Vivaan making an effort to get Chakor because in other show the mr-ex-goody-two-shoes never even tired and we hated him for that.
Stirring pots seems to have become my specialty when all I do is state my opinion! 😕

BTW another show is going the groom swap way - Jana na dil se door. Fans are up in arms - way more than I have seen on any other forum. The ongoing fan war is just amazing.

TV detox is great!!! I can break away completely from some shows and make space new ones. Zee is starting 3 shows in 2 weeks 😆

Vivaan needs to speak to Imli because right now I feel bad for her.
