You are right Aaliya, only thing I ever doubted about disha77 was her name but at the same time I mentioned that I know a black lady whose name is Julia Roberts, had a colleague named Tom Cruise and know lots of ladies named Melanie Griffith. I am a human being anyway to doubt but it doesn't mean that I make a comment on it.

It may not make much difference for loosing some members in this forum, but not Disha77. Even today, when I login to this forum, I expect to see a post by Disha77.

I do not agree with you my friend. To me each and every member means a lot and we do try our best to retain as many members we can (though sometimes it does not happen). Even though we today have 25,000+ member does not give us the liberty of ignoring or forgeting someone who have contributed a lot towards it development.

India Forums to me and many of us is not just a forum its more like a online family now where we visit daily and relax ourselves among friends.

Probably this is why we got Sree to talk to Disha as we wanted to know both side of story and wanted Disha to return back on the forum. Everything which is on the newspaper does not mean its true and I will always stand for forum members if they are RIGHT.

Though I do not know Disha personally but I have read her few updates of her and have witnessed how she raised the bar in updating shows and even in promoting Tumhari Disha & DK as well as India Forums. So I do owe a lot to her and cant say "just forget about disha77" or "one member coming or going does not make any impact" cause it does affect the forum!

But as Sree said lets bury the issue and restore peace on the forum. We are all friends here and let all rumours settle down. I am sure both are already in the process of taking the whole incident as a misadventure.

So lets get back to the shows and India forums. I can promise you all that there are a lot of "great" things planned for India Forums and you all are gonna have a great time here. I am just waiting for the latest Server Bandwidth overusage problem to be resolved. And disha77 if you are reading it I would personally like to see you back on India Forums cause you still have got friends who misses you!!!

Wonderful post! I'm in total agreement with you. The measure of Disha's words is not the number of people who believe in her, but the conviction of the people who stand beside her! She is a very valuable, passionate and lively member of IF and we will all love to have her back ASAP! The on going debate is of no significance really compared to her continued participation!!

A very inspiring post. Thanx for the encouraging words you have put down in your post. IF truly is like one big family. And just like how in a family if one member is hurt or sad it affects the happiness of the whole family, so also here when a hurt Disha said it is goodbye for her to IF, it made all of us sad.

Disha, you know very well you have some very good friends here who will miss you terribly. Please dont say bye to the TD forum. Just once in a while do keep posting some article or the other or at least to say hi. One of your faceless friends from the forum,

Dear Friends,

Firstly I am Chillyflakes writing, before any of you get confused. Secondly, a very warm thanks to Sree, for the chat you had with Disha, the poor thing has been down in the dumps for the past few days since she read that damned article / interview by a particular person.......but now she feels much better after talking to you, clearing up somethings, letting you know what the truth of the whole matter and ofcourse, the unprecedented show of support and faith by fellow members!

My association with Dee goes back some 6-months back, when Dee shifted in our apartment complex, I stay as a PG with some family friends in Delhi......we hit it on at the very first moment, and trust me, anyone who comes in contact with Disha, will instantly fall in love with the woman......she has what is called unbridled charm (Atleast someone vouches for this in his post) Her so-called friendship with this certain individual was at its peak then, and in our daily meetings, she told me all about IF and this particualar actor. I got majorly intrigued and started reading her updates and like all of you became a die-hard fan of hers, all the more perhaps, because, I used to meet her everyday. I had a laptop and she had a DSL connection, I used to go to her place during weekends (she was working then) and used to see her posting updates ect......I guess my connection with all you guys started even without actually posting anything, just seeing Disha being so involved with IF used to make me wonder! But I was very clear on this particular actor issue from the beginning, I just did not trust the man, not because he was an actor or anything, but something about him made me highly suspicious about him, all that nice talk, chivalry and wittiness.......that was just a facade. But Disha being what she is, was extremely fond of him and kept insisting that he is truly a wonderful human being, ect, ect and that she will do what she can to see that he becomes popular.......I still don't know what made her do so much for a total stranger, but I have seen the girl spending hours writing posts and polishing her updates, so that this ''DK'' chap comes out looking the tops.

I feel both anger and pity for Disha, anger because, she acted like a fool, spent time, energy and emotion on an ungrateful, slanderous, selfish individual and pity because, she did all this without any personal motive......her simple explanation was that she liked him and just wanted to help him out! Can you believe that? I guess I am too practical and hard-headed unlike Dee to understand her motives, but whatever the case, knowing Disha for almost 6 months now, I can say that I have not knows a more unselfish, loving and honest person than she is and whatever anyone says about her in the Newspaper or in the Forums, I know that she has not done any impersonation or even thought of causing any harm to this particular person.

After her chat with Sree and a long-winded, late-night discussion with yours truly, Dee has decided to stay away from the Forum for some time, let things cool down, let people get away with their prejudices and let things get back to normal.........she is way too involved with IF and with some of you guys here to ever think of leaving IF permanently.....u should just hear her speak about Lata and some others, it seems as if she knows them from her childhood!

As for me, my journey with IF started with Dee, many of you had commented earlier on that my writing style is very similar to Dee, well it had to be, she used to proof-read all my updates and post before I used to post it.....and ok, with the risk of sounding like a worshipper, let me say that her command over the language is so incredibly good, that many a times, she has rattled out the updates for KYPH, while I had typed it out and then later made the changes! Also the idea for the Wedding post was hers, I only did the writing part! Its very tough for me to continue posting while Dee won't be there, you will find, that your dear Chillyflakes, is actually one hell of an untalented person, who cannot string two words together in a proper sentence!!!

I am planning to go down South next month and hoping to meet Sree in Chennai......I will take Dee's pic's with me along with my Wedding pics, Sree and I will have a cool time!

Lastly, I want to end with a profuse thanks to Vijay, Lata, Mink, Nikki, Memsaab, Jings, Lilly, Sim and ofcourse to Sree for letting Disha have her share of Justice. Even though we are in a virtual world, every person has his / her respect and sadly enough, a wonderful person had been ripped off her dignity by an opportunist, but it is heartening to know that there are people who chose to stand by an unknown friend as opposed to a ''celebrity''. Hats off to you guys!

Till I gather my thoughts and cheer up Dee considerably, I am off too from IF. Hopefully when we both come back, this whole episode will be in the back-burner and we can start on a new note!
