Yes she remarried. Remarriage
were allowed in Vedic age under certain circumstances. But women who remarried
were seldom glorified or praised. To discourage remarriage Manu-the first law giver said "women who remarries never reaches heaven or gets salvation" Hindu marriage r sacrament n considered as indissoluble even after death that's why remarriage was not glorified. Even today marriage amongst hindus is considered as a sacred act which establishes janam janamaantar ka rishta. but some sages like
Parashara allowed remarriage in some circumstances. Parashara was also a law giver. His mention is in Mahabharat n Yagnavalkaya Smriti. Some sages favored remarriage
of young widows because if they were not allowed to remarry they might get
exploited by men n it may give rise to many social vices.
Moreover custom followed in
Arayavrata n Kishkindha were different. In ancient era custom had overriding effect over written law. Tara was glorified by Lord Krishna. PanchaMahakanya status
to her was given by Lord Krishna in Dwapar Yug though she was not much glorified
by people of her yug Valmiki too parised her through lord Ram because she was brave n
intelligent n she opposed injustice.
