Shatru refused to award Kareena Best Actress gong

Former Bollywood superstar stormed out of last week's Zee Cine Awards ceremony in London after he was asked to present the Best Actress award to Kareena Kapoor.

The man with the high pitch voice and unique style was initially told that he would be presenting an award to Shah Rukh Khan for Best Actor. However, he was later told that there had been a change in the plan and he would now award Kareena Kapoor instead. He wasn't happy about this and packed up his belongings and left the arena, half an hour before the proceedings came to a close, and even refused to attend the after-show party. Shatrughan expressed that he was a 'big' star and that he would only present the big award. He was even more dismayed when it came to his attention that the Best Actor award was to be presented by fellow actress Rekha.

Shatrughan Sinha was replaced by Govinda, who came on stage at the last minute to hand the trophy to Kareena Kapoor. Kareena had won the award for her role in Jab We Met.

What a pathetic man! So according to him the best actress award is not equal to best actor....only men are allowed 'big' awards? 🤢

what? is this news actually true? if it is then i must say mr sinha is one sexist MCP. i can't believe that he refused to give the best actress award to kareena & expected to give the best actor award to shah rukh only. tsk tsk.. that is just unreasonable behaviour.

The news is true..But the sense in which the editor has written it is false..I watched this news today at Aaj Tak..
I don't think so without knowing the full story ppl should blame him..

so true he might have other reasons but if it is because he only wanted to do mens one not women then its pathetic
