ABOUT THE SHOW

Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah is the story of shy timid Annu who has always been an underdog... But she possesses one talent, which is the magic in her hand. Annu can bring cheer to the saddest soul and melt the hardest heart with any dish she cooks!

Annu and family have all the love and affection one could ask for, but no money. She is not ambitious and is perfectly content with her life, thinking that she will get married have children and life will go on. But fate has different things in store for her. Unexpected events turn her life around completely and with a queer twist of fate she lands up in a top professional restaurant's.

With no training and confidence, Annu is in the tough world of professional chefs against all odds. But she weaves her magic on everyone and eventually in her quiet, charming way Annu will create the perfect recipe for food and love. And in this restaurant Annu will find her friends, confidence in herself, and her true love Ashu.

The show has got a different flavor and style of treatment. It's got an equal mix of humour and drama, and still strongly touches upon the emotional aspect. Most of the characters are also fun based and real. The coming together of Annu and Aashu at the restaurant will eventually lead to a coming together of two families as diverse as chalk and cheese.

CHARACTERS

Bedi Family:-

Anmol (Sanjeev Mehra)
He is the head of the family. A Mechanic for him his family is everything. He believes a relationship is done between two people of same status.

Archala ()
Anmol's wife who has been on his side through thick & thin. She can figure out Anmol mood by looking at his face.

Bindiya (Madhuri Pandey)
The eldest daughter who is married & has a daughter. She often has fights with her husband. She comes backs to her house & decides to start her life afresh by taking up a job.

Chavi (Pallavi Gupta)
She has big dreams. She knows all the latest trends whether it's cell phone or dress or cars she knows it all. When she mets Jeet she thinks he is the love she was waiting for.

Vimbo Bua (Pratibha Kamzi)
Anmol's sister. She is strict. She makes Annu run with Ashu.

Annu (Sreejita De)
She comes from a middle-class Punjabi family. She is s very close to our family; we both are homely and love cooking. She has lived a sheltered life until circumstances force her out of her comfort zone and step out into the real world. She becomes a chef at an upscale restaurant Victoria, where she faces new trials at every turn. It is also where she meets her prince charming Ashu, who incidentally happens to be owner son.

Singh Family:-

Kavita ()
Anmol's neighbor. She has one son Gulshan.

Gulshan/Gullu (Mitil Jain)
Annu's best friend. It has been two years since he is in Cookery classes but when it comes to cooking he is zero but he is doing all this to make her mother happy. He enters Super Chef competition where he accidentally takes dish made by Annu and wins.

Mehta Family:-

Rishab Mehra (Rajesh Khatter)
He started his career with Victoria but today he is one of the leading business men. He always had a dream that his eldest son Ashu will return back from USA completing his MBA & handle his business. He hands over Victoria charge to Ashu with a hope that he will make Victoria big one day.

Malvika Mehra (Anisha)
Rishab second wife, she is selfish and her aim is to separate Rishab and Ashu so that the property goes to her and her son Neil.

Ashu (Dev Keswani)
Rishab's eldest son; he is handsome, adorable and sweet. He goes to do MBA against his wishes to make his father happy but he soon realizes that this is not what he wants to do and doesn't gives the finals. He decides to destroy Victoria so that he can go back to USA but ends up loving the place. He decides to make Victoria one of the biggest restaurants of the town. He falls for the Head Chef Annu.

Angel ()
Ashu's sister whom he loved alot. She is physically fit but mentally a kid.

Neil Mehra (Mukul Chablani)
Ashu's step brother who is two faced. In front of Ashu he behaves as his well wisher but behind his back he along with his mother conspires against him. Devika is his prawn for destroying Ashu and Victoria.

Victoria's Staff:-

SK ()
He is the head chef and partner of Victoria. He believes girls cannot become a chef for them there is a place in kitchen where they can cook.

Devika()
The hostess of Victoria. She can't go well with SK and Malvika. She dreams of becoming owner of Victoria one day by becoming daughter in law of Rishab Mehra. She is forced to leave Victoria after Neil uses her for his own advantage but owes to take revenge.

Tauji (Akhil Mishra)
The senior most chef. He along with Ron always fills SK's ears againt Gullu/Annu.

Lavina (Loveena)
She is bubbly, talkative and likes Gullu. She is savior of Annu whenever she is in any problem in Victoria. She falls in love with Gulshan.

Nats ()
A waiter he always saves Annu from Tauji, Ron & SK.

Sattu()
A Cleaner.

Ron (Amit Dua)
A chef he hates Annu and liked Devika who don't even care about him. He always tries to create problem for Annu but his plans backfires.

Others:-

Rakesh ()
Bindiya's husband. He has contacts arguments with his wife who wants him to take loan and starts his own business. He had no big dreams and believes to be happy with whatever one has.

Timky ()
Rakesh and Bindiya's daughter.

Moksh ()
A salesmen in a shopping mall. He loses his job in the process of saving Chavi. He joins Anmol's garage as a mechanic. A soft spoken guy he loves Chavi but never had guts to tell her.

Jeet (Dheeraj Mighlani)
Ashu's best friend who is a casinova. He changes his girlfriends like his clothes everyday.

Mehek (Ridheema Tiwari)
Mehak wishes to run an orphanage and live life to the fullest. She is a very quiet and humble girl and this quality of hers impresses Ashu. But the reality is that, she is a struggling actress trying to meet both ends. She has been planted by Neil to distract Ashu's attention from Annu and in the process Neil wants to execute his plans of destroying his brother and take away the restaurant from him.

KAHANI AB TAK

The show is about Annu she is simple, quite & protected by her family members. Annu is getting married but her to be in laws & to be husband are very greedy. Chavi Annu's sister gets caught for stealing at a shop but the salesmen Moksh helps her to run from there. On the day of marriage, Anmol calls off the wedding. Moksh loses his job joins Anmol's garage.

Gulshan aka Gullu, Annu's best friend & neighbor Kavita's son takes part in Super Chef competition. By mistake he takes the dish made by Annu & is selected for the final. He asks Annu to help him. Annu dresses as Gullu & takes part in competition final round which she wins.

Gullu(Annu) who won the competition gets a job offer for Victoria & she accepts it as her family needs money to pay the dues & she wants to help them. Everyone in the family thinks Gullu is working in Victoria as Chef & Annu is teaching the kids of his senior.

The owner of Victoria, Rishab's son Ashu has returned back from US completing his MBA but the truth is he didn't appear for his final year. He tells this to Neil his step brother. Neil hates Ashu but in front of him he pretends to love him. Neil records Ashu's confession in his digital camera. Rishab throws a celebration party for Ashu where all the press are called. Somehow Neil manages to get Ashu's confession video get played. Rishab is angry. He gives the charge of Victoria by his father. Ashu wants to return back to US & his step brother Neil tells him to destroy Victoria so that he can prove dad he can't handle business which he agrees. Ashu is unaware about Neil's real motive.

Ashu plans to destroy Victoria but all his plans backfire. slowly Ashu starts loving Victoria & changes his mind. Annu & Ashu starts bonding. Ashu considers Annu(Gullu) as his best friend. Annu finally decides to tell Ashu truth about herself but couldn't. Gulshan and Annu's family come to Victoria to have lunch. There Chavi meets Moksh. Chavi goes to meet Jeet for lunch along with Annu while Jeet comes along with Ashu. Ashu falls for Annu. He proposes her one day but Gullu comes there & says he is Annu's boyfriend. Annu and Gullu make up a story of theybeing in love but their family not ebing aware about their relationship. Ashu is heartbroken. He tells Neil about this.

There is entry of a new character Mehek who has been planted by Neil to distract Ashu & destroy him. Vimbo Annu's Bua comes to Bedi house. Ashu's birthday is approaching, he decides to get Annu & Gullu get engaged on this special day while Annu's family thinks Ashu is going to propose Annu. In Ashu's birthday bash Annu finally reveales her identity that she was working in Victoria as Gullu. Anmol is shattered. Annu's family is neglecting her & Gullu couldn't bear it anymore blasts her family. Annu's family forgives her. Ashu proposes Annu & she accepts his proposal.

Annu's parents go to meet Rishab who insults them. Anmol throws Ashu out of house & says never to meet Annu again. Ashu leaves his home & starts living at Gullu's place. Satinder from USA is coming to see Annu. Ashu & Gullu kidnap keep. Ashu comes to Bedi house as Satinder & Gullu as his uncle. The marriage is fixed. On day of marriage Ashu is caught. Anmol decides to get Annu married within one week but Bua has some other plans. Matchmaker Aggarwal brings a another prospective groom Barrinder and his family for Annu. The groom says yes from his side.

Ashu comes up with the idea of kidnapping Annu but they end up kidnapping someone else. Ashu decides to run with Annu but since she won't agree to elope with him they come up woth a plan. Chavi tells Annu that she is with Jeet who is taking her somewhere. Annu leaves with Ashu to search for Chavi. After knowing the truth Annu is angry she wants to go back but Bua tells her not to.

Anmol & Rishab launch complain about Annu & Ashu missing. Ashu & Annu are travelling in a bus when the cops stop it to investigate but the passengers save them. Finally Annu forgives Ashu. Ashu & Annu's bus is missed. The goons attack them but they are saved by Katar Sigh who runs a dhaba. Ashu & Annu start living at Katar's house. Ashu starts working as waiter in the dhaba. Katar's son Harjeet falls in love with Annu at first sight.

Neil is given charge of Victoria. SK resigns. Mehek also joins Victoria. Gullu manages to gets a job in Victoria fooling Neil & Mehek. Rishab hires a detective to find Ashu. Gullu & Lavina keep distracting & misguiding him. Katar Sigh gives people old food instead of making the fresh one which Ashu & Annu find out. In Katar's absence, they make fresh food & give to the customers which they all like. Ashu finds out that Harjeet liked a girl Bijli & he gets an idea to keep Harjeet away from Annu. Ashu clicks some pictures of Harjeet & Bijli.

It's wedding of a couple & the Barati's of bride have come to eat food at dhaba. Annu's caught making fresh food by Katar who blasts her & asks her to get out of his dhaba. The Baraati's & Ashu support. All the Baraati's vote for Annu to stay in the dhaba. Katar agrees. There is a cooking comeptition in which Katar is participating from last 20 years as he met his wife in this competition & she wanted him to win atleast once but he never won. Harjeet asks Annu to help him & she agrees. The detective reaches dhaba in search for Ashu-Annu but they manage to fool him. Katar comes to know about Harjeet's feelings for Annu & accepts her as his daughte rin law. He gives his wife read chunari to Annu.

Annu's family see her on TV & come to know about here whereabouts. The detective catches Ashu-Annu but loses in front of their love. He gives up the mission assigned to him by Rishab. Annu breaks this news to Ashu about Katar finding out Harjeet's feelings for her. Ashu & Annu decide to leave the dhaba the next day. Ashu & Annu's family lands up at dhaba.
