Moderator's Note:
Please note - These rules are in immediate effect. Anyone found not following the rules shall be likely to face the consequences.

  1. General rules for posting in the forums:

1.1.  I-F is a general discussion forum about your favourite serials. This is a free forum, and it may be used to constructively state/discuss opinions, but please do keep in mind to state your points without offending anyone else's sentiments. Topics bashing actors/members are strictly not allowed. Any such topics found shall immediately be locked and trashed.

1.2. Criticisms against characters are acceptable only if they are valid. Character bashing is almost as bad as actor/member bashing, as it hurts the sentiments of those who like the characters. Yes, we understand, certain characters can get aggravating when they just refuse to "die" and let your favourite couple together, but saying that you want him/her "to die" really doesn't work coz it doesn't add to the discussion much and just adds to the negativity of the                    forums.

Please refrain from it. Constructive criticism – acceptable. Over the top ranting = locked topic.

1.3. Tolerance: Other people are entitled to their opinion, just as you are to yours. You may like KN and dislike Tanya, but there are people here who do not like KN and like Tanya and may clearly state so. This is a free forum, as it is a free world and anyone may like/dislike anyone/anything they want within the limits of reason. As long as they do so in a decent, non-offensive manner, you have no right to ATTACK and REBUKE them about their choice. Any such posts found shall lead to a raise in warning levels.

1.4. Use clean language. Profanity of any kind is not tolerated on I-F and leads to an immediate warning raise.

1.5. Please add to the discussion, by saying more than "Thank you" or just using smileys. Posting just "thank you", "t4s" or plain 😊 is considered spamming, and a ploy to increase your post count.

1.6. Do not post in all CAPS. It's considered yelling. You may use CAPS if you wish to stress on something in your post, but please refrain from writing your WHOLE message in capital letters. (See what I did there? Emphasizing! Teach by example, I believe! 😉)

1.7. Use the "Thank you" button if you do not have anything to say but want to thank the author for posting a thread you liked. Please do not continuously post "thanks" or "t4s". Use the thread to discuss what has been posted. Often, many great posts are derailed then it is found to be full of "thank you"s. Continuous spamming will lead to a raise in warning levels.

1.8.  If you are posting articles, please use the "Search" feature to see if the article has been posted earlier. Also state the source of the article, or its authenticity may be questioned.

1.9.  Since I-F now has it's own Telly-news portal "Telly Buzz", articles from Tellychakkar are not allowed (as we are in direct competition with them).

1.10.                 Please post all pictures in the Gallery. (https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/514627)Do not make separate threads to post just a handful of pictures.

1. 11. Please post all yours sigs/avis in the "Creations" thread - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/346669.

1.12. Do not post links to other forums/sites over here. You shall receive an instantaneous raise in warning levels.

2.    Update (Written/Video)

  

2.1 Do not make repeated topics asking for updates – written or video. The moment that they are put up by the designated updater, they are stickyed by a member of the KSBKBT Dev Team. If you do not find it in the first 2 –3 pages, then it probably hasn't been put up yet. Please wait patiently, as writing an update/uploading a half hour long video is no easy feat and a lot of hard work goes into it. Topics found asking for updates shall be trashed without warning and a repetition can lead to a raise in warning levels.

2.2 Do not write updates or "highlights"/post videos, UNLESS YOU ARE AUTHORISED TO DO SO by a member of the KSBKBT Dev Team. Such topics are just a waste of your valuable time and work, as they are trashed immediately if you are not the authorised updater fro the day. If you wish to contribute to the forums by posting updates (written/videos), then PM a Dev Team member expressing your interest, and we shall get back to you and tell you when you can do so.

2.3 Posting videos from other forums is NOT ALLOWED. Any videos with links/logos to another forum will immediately be trashed without warning, and you shall receive a warning level raise.

3.    Offensive posts


If you see an offensive post, please hit the "Report" button. Do not argue with the person in the topic. It just creates more of a mess for the Dev Team to clean up and leads to the whole thread being ruined. Just ignore the post and continue with the discussion.



4.    KSBKBT Development Team

Hello Friends,



Recently we have seen too many unsavory topics in the section which has disrupted the environment leaving bad vibes and hurt sentiments here. It's time we pull up our acts and behave in a responsible manner so that we don't have to face similar situation again.



We are different people from different parts with different tastes and different choices bound together by our like for the same drama. But our opinions will surely be different from one another's. That is why we will have to learn to respect one other's opinion. We all MUST learn to coexist. "Unity in diversity" will be out motto henceforth.



Here are a few ground rules that we have drawn up to maintain the sanctity of the place and live amicably.



Please take time to read it and remember, non adherence to the rules will mean serious action which can result in warning and even ban.



  1. Instigatory /Insulting/Abusive Posts: Please avoid making posts that are abusive, derogatory, insulting or sarcastic enough to affect the sentiment of another member. Such posts will be dealt with very strictly. It is very frustrating to see such threads. But reacting to them is even worse. It' like fuelling a fire which then burns too many fingers. As soon as you see a thread of this type posted by someone, you will NOT take law into your own hands to teach a lesson to that person for insulting your fav jodi/ idol. That aggravates matters more and you also become liable for action for reacting thus. Instead you will simply make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly. Faster actions can be taken by the online MODS when such threads are reported.
  1. Inquiry Posts :  Mostly new members who are not aware of the section functioning style makes posts inquiring about the show, updates, videos, picture gallery etc. If you see such a thread, please don't attack. Please reply to the question by posting the information requested if you have it or the link to the source of information. Once help is provided, please leave that thread alone and inform a section MOD or simply report it saying help has been provided. Either the section Mod or any GM online then will take action of closing the thread.
  1. Fan Fiction Posts: A Fan fiction (FF) is a creative outlet of an author's imagination. The author may have the same idea about the plot as you do or her plot/ choice of jodi may differ. Just because she prefers a different combination for a jodi, does not make her bad and vice versa. She is entitled to her creativity as much as you are. So stop making an issue of it or tearing the author to pieces. If you find something derogatory in the FF, then please PM the section DT to have a look and take appropriate action or simply report it using the "REPORT" button.. Mind you, unless the FF breaks any of the IF COC rules, no action shall be taken against it. If you find the plot unpalatable, do the next best thing- stop reading that FF and troubling yourself .Simply ignore it. There are plenty of other threads that you may find interesting. In the section, the FF threads have been segregated as per the different choices for Jodi's, you simply stick to the jodi FF that you like. Any derogatory posts, harsh abusive posts or retaliation post will not be tolerated.
  1. Name Calling Posts :  Please remember the serial  is a fictional story with various plots and subplots. The actors and actresses are merely professionals who are enacting their respective roles. So, the actor/actresses are different than the characters they play. If you do not like a character, criticise the character but NOT the actor. Same goes to fans too. If you see a criticism against a character, please do not jump in to defend the Actor/actress, for it is only the character that is getting criticised. If anyone is at fault then it is the story plot. While criticising, remember to not post anything unsavoury that you wouldn't like hearing about yourself  spoken by others. To get respect, first learn to respect others. Any derogatory references or name callings against actors / characters / members/Dev team members are strictly a NO NO  here.
  1. No Slangs/Swear words/Curses/ Profanity in Posts : This is a family forum where we have members from 13 years of age to 70+ years visiting. So irrespective of how angry you are, or how frustrated you are, you will not use swear words, curses, slang's, or profanity. Anyone found doing so will face serious action.
  1. No threads shall be opened criticising the functioning of the Dev Team. If you have any issues contact the section Dev Team by PM and sort it out but do not create a scene by starting a thread here .No personal attack –direct/indirect, abusive/sarcastic shall be tolerated.
