Synopsis for Malargal - by Dasa
Malargal" – is the story of Nataraja Kounder and his family in Nachiar puram,a sleepy little town near the temple town of Kancheepuram.
He lives a honest simpleton life with his wife and children Moorthy,Bhaskar,Shiva,Tulasi,Vidya. Tulasi is married to Shanmugham who is a good person by heart and deeds but his mother Saraswathi makes Tulasi's life miserable.
Saraswathi seeks a heir for the family but Tulasi is unable to oblige her and hence she manipulates Tulasi to arrange a 2nd marriage for Shan.
Vidya is married to Ramesh who is very possessive of his wife. He comes to know that Vidya loved Ashok before marriage and then all problems start for Vidya.
Shiva is forced to marry Nataraja Kounder's brother's daughter,Revathi but as he does not like her, he secretly marries Amala.
The main villain for kounder is of course Kadhir who believes that Kounder abandoned his mother due to which his mother became mad. So Kadhir's main goal in life is to take revenge against Kounder
How all these characters interact and the complicated relationships between them progress is of course to be seen in the small screen.
