Upon member voting, the winners were decided and I am here to announce those very winners!
Before I do that, though, it's necessary to say that ALL the entries were fabulous! Everyone had hard time deciding the winners. It was really hard. The votes received for all the poems were quite close to the winning entries.
With that said, here's announcing the poems that won the top five places!

the unforgotten dream
one night i was feeling very sad
my eyes dropped a silent tear
the thing i wanted wasn't big
just someone who could hear
sitting there down and out
i heard a deep kind voice
he asked me to come closer
i went as i had no choice
HE wiped my tears and blessed me
i felt as if my sorrows were gone
he looked at me and made his way
leaving me with my questions solved
neither do i found out who he was
nor do i wish to
just remember his touch his calmness
because he seemed to be very true
even now when all are cheering
a little heart is broken
it still continues to hurt
some words are still "unspoken"

Snakes and ladders
It's a mean world,
If you think logically.
People pretend they're your friends
But stab you consciously.
They cut you off to carve their way up
And then blame you of jeopardizing their work
When they fall down equally fast.
The world's full of snakes
No one's success they can tolerate.
They crawl alertly through the lanes
Ready to strike with their fangs.
But there are the ladders too
The good one's of the lot,
They help you reach your destination
And motivate you from start.
They advise you,
But let you make your choice
They're the pillars of strength
Always there at every bend.
So you see, the road is but a game
Of snakes and ladders.
The dice is in your hand
You are the player in the arena and
You dictate if you have a game plan!
Take the ladders. Fight the snakes.
If you play it right.
If you work real hard and if you play it smart,
Success will loom bright!
Then, the snakes will bow before you
And the ladders will grow longer!
Now -
Cross your fingers
And throw the dice!

Boys and Girls
The thought in old, this poem is new
the differences are many, the similarities are few
boys are naughty girls are nice
girls are sugar boys are spice
boys are big, loud and smelly
girls are happy friendly and have clothes in as many colors as jelly!!
This poem is just for one, not be takeen as offence in any way!

Jiss se karte the hum, jaan, guzaara.
Jaan se pyaara tha voh saath tumhaara.
Fanaa hue tumhaare pyaar mein iss kadar.

Visions
I heard your voice calling me at night.
Your presence was in the air.
I let you come near and hold my hands
and take me anywhere.
You held me tight as I started to cry
and told me not to fear.
You said you'd never leave me again.
Forever you'd stay near.
With new hope emerging in mind
I looked into your eyes.
The pain in my heart had melted away.
I'd forgotten all the lies.
I hugged you, and I closed my eyes
thinking about love and care.
I opened my eyes to awake from the dream,
I saw you were not there

TIME
Sometimes I imagine ;
why does time change?
why do all those beautiful memories..
Go just out of range?
People say that nothing is impossible;
Than can they prove that everything is possible?
Time is like the clouds in the sky;
Which never stops how much ever we try;
There are clouds which bring us rain;
There are times which bring us pain;
So dont take time just for fun;
Time and tide waits for none.
