if this is happening then it means makers are, all of sudden without any logic, changing the story to movie Aaina where elder sister who was going to marry the lead , runs away from home on her wedding day because she gets a movie offer in Mumbai then younger sister ( Juhi chawla ) had to marry the lead . once they fall in love , elder sister comes back after her failed career and asks her man back from her sister

It's clear they both never valued each other. What non sense family pressure n what was it for Jhanak? Self respect ko dajja udadiya unhone. So in this process what wud she loose if she had confessed her love for Ani? She cud hv atleast tried. Ani ne pata nhi kya tangent mein chale gayee especially towards the end of this track. 😢
