It is easier to openly criticize someone whom they don't know than someone they know. After interacting with the actors they form an opinion and can't be that much open to criticize them. And also they get to understand the actor's perspective so they may consider that too while reviewing. I think that was a segment in the show. It had both the positive and negative comments. I don't think Aamna hates Danish. I have seen her agreeing to his acting being good. It was that the character selection of Danish they dislike. Even Wahaj disagreed to give interview to SH. And they generally talk nicely about him. When they don't know the actors personally, they have no idea about what they are like. But when they interview, they get to understand the actor's personality and perspective. So the perception may change.

Reviews are based on episode by episode. At first, may be she felt apprehensive and later saw the potential in the pairing then, may be now she doesn't feel it. I get the point she was making regarding one set of actors. She named FQ and DT. When she watched the shows, she felt the spark. It is her perspective.

I think it's more about the spark of the actors on the screen when they come together. And regarding the age, she mentions about the screen age. I think the screen age of some actors is more than their real age and for some, it's less. I agree that she has her biases but I don't think she is not genuine. I can see that she has the intellect when she reviews dramas seriously. And I saw her genuinely praising actors and put her point of view across when she criticized.

There is no doubt that all these review platforms are clout chasers but it’s also true that Amina put her difference of opinion very respectfully and clearly while also appreciating Hiba and Sherry a LOT for their performance and also enjoying the show as a whole.

I shared the video because it resonated with me while watching Radd. I agreed with her and it’s fine if people don’t agree. But I don’t understand what’s offensive about it. A difference of opinion should be taken as just a different perspective and nothing more.

Also clearly some people felt the same. It’s not some outlier take.

You’ll even find people who prefer Syra. Or who prefer Zain Emaan over Emaan Salaar, or who think Hiba worked better with so n so and Sherry worked better with so n so. It’s so subjective.

So yeah, I don’t think there was any agenda or malice associated with it. Everyone has preferences.

Same way, I think it’s justified that when you’re talking about a love story… balke in this case a love triangle… chemistry will of course be discussed. Simple crime thriller hota tou it wouldn’t be mentioned. And I think she made a good comparison with the Jaafa couple there as well. Keh since you’re not anticipating chemistry, you’re not really looking for it there. But here in Radd, people are since it’s a love story as well smiley20

I don’t think it’s clout chasing but when one opens a YouTube channel they want the recognition, reach, views and money from that channel. There is nothing wrong in that.

I agree that she put her point of view in a respectful manner and appreciated them and told that individually they were doing fine.

I get the reaction of fans. They are attached to the actors and they get happy when they are praised and don’t really like it when they get criticised. And, yes, it’s a difference of opinion and she expressed it respectfully. And, like I said before she gave the reasoning that because dramas can’t show much the chemistry won’t come on the screen.

And coming to lust factor, which was mentioned in one post, I would like to give my opinion here. When there is a friendship between a guy and a girl, the way the guy looks at the girl is platonic and when there is love between the couple, the look differs and here the lust factor adds in. So in a couple chemistry, lust is also needed to be visible in certain scenes. In friendship you see the respect, friendly love, care, understanding. So what makes the friendship and love different is the lust factor.

Sorry Preesu. But I completely disagree with you. Amna is close friend with Mahira and Feroze so she never criticizes them. She had changed the tone about Feroze after his controversy afterwards I don't know what she think about him. I haven't followed them well. But after saying that they are never going to interview Feroze, their channel just recently sneakily reuploaded old interview of Feroze just after his second marriage. They are just clout chasers. Nothing else

And she openly hates Danish even to the point they never reviewed Deewangi though it was most trending show back then. During KTK she even said Durre acted better than Danish in the show🤣🤣 Danish fans can give you more information about it. Its ok to have bias of some sort but it should not be that obvious especially if you are so called reviewer.

she never leaves a chance to criticize Hiba. She subtly shades Hiba all the time pretending as if she likes her. Sometimes she has problem with looks sometimes its chemistry. Also there are so many things to talk in the show and only thing they have to discuss was the chemistry.

I wouldn’t have problem if it was geniune but I know for a fact she is not. I am saying this because i have listened to them since Parizaad days. I only stopped after they used to unnecessarily criticize FT. I had enough by then. I used to be a regular listener before.

even lust is a shady word - it’s basically desire / passion. If it clicks for you, well and good. Otherwise you’ll feel there’s something lacking

Let’s agree to disagree on some parts. I think our opinions are different regarding certain points. It’s fine.

Desire/Passion words are more sophisticated and can be used for other reasons too. But the word Lust is a direct word and has only one usage.

Lol not everything is about chemistry. It's a fact that radd is the number 1 show currently and general audience are tuning in to watch the show.

Trp pages don't give a damn about chemistry they only want entertainment. And radd is providing them that's, that's why it's the top show currently.

Gentleman was hyped a lot based on chemistry of humyum, but look at it. It's a flop, in my opinion.

Some shows are driven by chemistry like TB, some shows work mainly because of one character or actor like IM & some shows have a solid writing where every character drives the show. Radd & KA are those shows for you. The difference in opinion here, whom Eemaan needs to be with, either Salaar or Zain shows how brilliantly the characters have been written. Chemistry should not be the main focal point here if you are reviewing the show, it is a secondary thing here.

Zain & Eemaan were like equals having the similar kind of values & upbringing, so people who prefer a love story between two equals will find more chemistry in their scenes.

In Salaar & Eemaan's relationship clearly Eemaan has an upper hand. From Salaar's side it's more respect than passion or desire whatever, so people preferring a man having an upper hand in a relationship or the couple being on equal standing in the relationship might not like like this pair.

At the end of the day it's all about different perspectives.

I agree with one thing that Amna is atleast respectful when she puts across her POV. KDH reviewers mimick & body shame actors whom they don't like.

It's only the online audience and reviewers who are obsessed with chemistry. Trp aunties don't give a damn about chemistry they only want entertainment. And radd is providing them that's, that's why it's the top show currently.

I think gentleman going biweekly will help the drama becoming hit
