I really think the makers did want to change the story. Because the show has gone onto a complete different direction..it doesn’t feel like ghum at all. The toxicity is gone.and it feels light and a bit soulful…Savi is displaying maturity but also the pain of losing so many loved ones .. I’m not going to complain. Savi has been through alot. So if they give her love and happiness..it will be good to watch. The character playing hiteshs mom.‘doesn’t look like an evil mom in law.’she looks good .Savi got abused enough by those horrible bhosles..ak, rs, durva, her father and some other terrible characters..so if there’s nice people in her life now..it will be great. Sai had a miserable unhappy life.so even If this season is short lived but Savi gets a happy life ..it will be a good conclusion to her story.

I think the leap is lit. The makers prob felt Ishan became too much after the slap. If you check out the producer's bit in the cast's cake-cutting IV, he said there wasn't much left to explore after the love confessions, which I get. Like, what's left in any show after confessions, consummation, misunderstandings, divorce, and a kid? Then comes the gen leap. Ishan's fam was hella toxic, and the show got way too much. I don't think Ishan and Savi even had any cute moments together, just them. At least with the YHM copy, Raman Bhalla's fam wasn't that bad, and neither was his mom. So, Savi will get better in-laws this time around with the second chance love.

Ishaan and Reeva looked like made for each other , there was no real Ishvi moments and on top of that Bosales were too toxic

D makers were telling they love tormenting d audience so now let d audience torment them 4 trps. D entire Imlie creative team got their Karma for hurting Gashmeer nd Adilie fans I'm expecting d same 4 cockroach team.

I saw your comment on Rishta forum and was going to reply back, but I have lost that comment now. Definitely this ph deserves the karma. But now finding out about RS which I initially dismissed it completely. If he indeed has something to do with the changes of Ghum S2, then he deserves the worst too. Now finding about some stuffs about him but need to reconfirm first. It would makes sense now that I am thinking rishta trp increasing for the first time when Ghum was always above it in trps. Ishvi was the most popular young couple among Star plus trp viewers. But now with IshVi gone, Abhimaan is left so gaining viewers among trp audience. It would benefit him the most to see the removal of IshVi and for him to gain this slot for his new show too.
