Cool but keep interacting here. About DN I so feel she's gonna leave soon.

Another heavy episode that really sets the stage for a battleground. Going to break this out into a few posts.

Rahul Agarwal has come to battle and he's not backing down. From the entrance to the confidence in which he spoke, he meant war. I loved how he exposed the family's hypocrisy, double standards, fears and ego - with each and every example. That at the end of this the only thing they could fall back on was again the house's ancient tradition of not letting marriages break (anyone here remember Mauli and Manas)??

Though he thinks this plan is full proof we know (being ITV) he's got a long battle ahead of him but I'm glad he's got Manoj and his ride or die Rohit with him. Never underestimate the small but mighty team.

I was also very very pleased seeing Tanvi and Vijay is disbelief and disappointment. What did they expect. They pushed Rahul to the edge with no where to go. In other words, they had this coming.

Being the power holder, Janki is firm in her stance to get things her way. Little does she know that she's picked a fight with the wrong member of the house. I'm interested to see how the battle between grandma and grandson plays out.

Exactly the team division gave full on battlefield vibes.

Rahul Agarwal though being manipulated by DN is still firm in his love & stance 😍😍. Though they've dumbed him down by trapping him in DN's plan but our boy is not gonna back off. He's here to fight for his love & will do so come what may. Rahul & his confrontation scenes have a special place in my heart & so is this one. 🤩🤩

Yup though his team is small but it is definitely mighty.

Exactly it was so satisfying. The whole family needed such a extreme jerk & I'm glad Rahul gave it to them.

Ofcourse SS devi doesn't know what her grandson is capable of when it's about fighting for his love & yup as u've said she has messed up with the wrong person this time.

Haan this is good. Waise bhi DN ki galat fehmi hi hai ye jo bahut jald dur hone wali hai. Cos ghanta Rahul is gonna stay married to her.

Now coming to this whole, being married to get a divorcee tag plan I can see what the intention would be here but honestly I don't think (and really hoping) that this whole marriage is actually fake.

- Rahul brought proof with him in the form of a video (which is pretty solid) but this is ITV and the loopholes are there. We didn't hear anything so the mantras could be fake. Plus the video was in bits and pieces. What if Rahul really did second guess his decision and convince Rati to act like they were getting married just to make the video look real. The girl is desperate she'd do anything. Plus he has a conscience.

- This is ITV so anything and everything illogical is possible. They could honestly make up anything at the last hour.

- Lastly, Rahul actually being married to Rati and then getting a divorcee does nothing to tackle the societal norms. Why bring up the divorcee marriage topic in the first place? Why give Rahul that epic monolog in public, declaring his love and promising that as a bachelor he'd marry a divorcee? Why have Rahul go round after round defending his decision and questioning everyone on this divorcees can't marry non divorcees for this to resort right back to the stereotype? It doesn't help change society but infact helps to endorse and encourage these thoughts. And with this show coming from this production house that has some big name shows that have tackled these societal norms, deviating from this would not benefit the story and be regressive.

Now I will say that if this is true than I'm disappointed in the entire team for wasting an amazing opportunity to create some change.

Really love reading about your views heavy episode indeed and its gonna get heavier as we move forward.

MWG has become a warzone and these ancient minded people need to understand that its modern times are there is no such rule that one can't divorce if they are not happy with their marriage they need to change and adapt their rituals according to modern times in order to survive.Rahul is only taking first steps to bring changes in this family backed rightly by Rohit and Manoj and I agree though it seems long battle but it is of necessary one.

Their disappointment is only to the fact that Rahul didn't agree to them outright and created all this at the end only to marry Rati albeit to take divorce and they have a belief and confidence that they can stop Rahul from taking divorce and will force him to continue his marriage.

Agreed Janki picked a wrong fight and Rahul will not back down even if all his closed ones were on the other side.Remains me of Mahabharat where Arjun stands strong whereas his closed ones were too on the other one. This one is also kind of Mahabharat against ancient beliefs and Rahul will come away triumphs.

Same - I adore when he's in full on confrontation and defence mode. He's not scared to stand up and have a voice - regardless of what anyone has to say.

As the audience we can definitely see Rati manipulating Rahul but from his point of view he doesn't have reason to doubt her. He doesn't know her true intentions and he's know her since they were kids. There's no way he'd ever think she'd stoop this low. Plus she was saying all the right things (like how the family treats Mauli, etc) that I'm not surprised he agreed to whatever plan this is.
