btw Babita's monologues indicate she threatened or manipulated Priyanka buying her over with money in the past to leave her bhola son, otherwise it appears Priyanka would have continued to enjoy luxuries of Virat's wife for few more years.

That’s what I mean that amu’s soft corner for him is such a terrible thing, worse than Virat’s behaviour…her behaviour feels like the writers are slapping me for watching this serial…

In order for me to digest that I want to hope against hope that virat is acting. I know he isn’t but that’s the only hope if any, to redeem both of their behaviours from here on. Otherwise it is just plainly disgusting - what virat did yes, but more so how amu is reacting..it’s absolutely disgusting and simply illogical and against the character they have or were trying to build….

I mean you can have illogical scenes but how can you fundamentally change the basis of the plot - which was a no nonsense strong fl. They have kept Virat’s crazy bipolar behaviour consistent and reduced the fl to this? Especially after such abominable behaviour by the ml and other characters around…it is SImply actually unbelievable that they can write such crap…

I think I am In such disbelief that Is making me hope against hope…

I feel bad for Arjit for he seems to have improved as an actor since the start and seems to have invested into the role but he is being made so toxic and don’t even get me started on sriti…do these 2 actors really buy into this shit I thought they were much more clued on as individuals to go with this crappy script..

Maybe their egos are too inflated because their chemistry has been talked f so much that they have lost all sense of the script to go along with this

Why is it that they have taken this weird turn in story since June 1 specifically? [Not suggesting that they are doing it to bring in a new ML... which is as 'hopeful' a thing as Sriti quitting the show.]

More like, who in their right minds will think doing those episodes will actually help them? [well... who knows... may be the ratings did rise.] I fail to get their pov - seems more like suicide at least until the ratings come out.

This user idolizes amvira no matter what. Look at her other posts , she is chemistry student.

I think its clear on 2 things as of now:

1. Virat is not acting. He is taking revenge.

2. Amu is also not acting and she has forgotten what he did to her. Soon there will be no talk of this and this casual nok jhok will turn into love and then MU.

(I am so hopeless with this show because I used to watch TMD and I can see similarities in story/ characters/ dialogs and ultimately they lost the plot and had to kill FL character and bring her back as her doppelganger. )

PH & channels have this years old illusion, well promoted marriage track of leads on TV gets lot of buzz in media, increases viewership also hike in BARC ratings. Could have noticed fake wedding drama in KMTMG was nonsensical with no buy-in from viewers, so wanted to forcibly turn it real?

But in last couple of years NOT a single serials wedding track of leads/next gen airing on Zeetv could attract new viewers nor sustain existing viewers, nor got them BARC ratings as they were either overly dragged tracks beyond rubber band testing viewers patience or wedding drama was poorly written & unconvincingly presented. E.g. RM, SS, KKB, Kundali, Rabb, BL

Unfortunately channel team hasn't learnt any concrete lessons so far from their past failures. to guide KMTMG team properly on the disgust twist & repelling promo before airing those.

Do hate what Ammu does... but in a similar 'looking for the grain of truth in her behaviour' way, it is quite similar to how she is with her father. The way she was introduced, I had expected her to at least slap him when he ordered her mom to go out, if not jail him for doing so after walking in with his mistress. I was disappointed with her about it - even worse, she went to him the next day to ask him to 'reconsider' his decision. Both Jayesh and Virat have proved themselves to be idiots of the highest order in one way or the other.. along with Babita and their 'opposites' (wont call them all 'spouses') have been shown to be idolising them in one way or the other.

its not easy to make sense of this... my best guess is the writers have lost their way.

btw, there are a couple of articles that Annu. has shared in Chat club, which is one of the pinned thread. Perhaps that will give some insight as to why the show is how it is.

True. Unlike many here, I actually didnt mind and even liked the hospital scenes - Babita faking operation etc. Illogical, impractical but can give it to creative liberty... and a good plot to trap Ammu. But the moment the goons confessed Ammu paid them... it went plain stupid and went downhill from there... not just downhill, it probably reached Mariana Trench by now.

And all the while, the backstory has it, that Ammu walked out of her wedding on the wedding day (though not specified if it is on the mandap). That makes her current actions / thought processes even more weird and unbelievable.
