Dude what you are saying is completely right. However, at some point in your life you failed to follow your own words. You failed to protect your wife's dignity when your own family was insulting her and her upbringing. Dadisa, Vidhya, and Phuphasa used such bad words against Abhira and her mom, yet you kept silent. On top of everything, you expected Abhira to stay silent and keep tolerating their hostile behavior, while she stay with you as your wife.
