Ridiculous to the extreme

In what world do the makers of this show conceive that vandalizing a restaurant openly is allowed in the U.S.? We have Indian restaurants here that do have cockroaches running around. An Indian restaurant close to where we live was reported and the restaurant was closed temporarily. Restaurants exhibit their rating near their doors or in plain sight - A, B, C. It is upto you if you want to go in and dine at a B class restaurant. Any bugs or cockroaches, the Health Dept seals and shuts the restaurant. No Indian or anyone would pelt stones and ransack a restaurant just for that. Totally ridiculous and unbelievable. People sue here left, right and center, they don’t break the law by pelting stones, they would be jailed for hooligan behavior.

Not just ridiculous but frustrating too! I had left watching it post Samar’s death phase for a long time, only to pick it up when the ‘Amareeka’ bit began… but the makers are really testing patience everyday! Are they fools to not understand that it’s her f***ed up good for nothing child Paritosh who could have done this! And moreover they don’t use CC TV cameras! HOW? Rajan Shahi really needs to buck up on the common sense bit, I believe. Everything is just crazy in the show… from Aadhya’s behaviour to Shruti’s existence and everything else in between. The makers have lost it completely.

Agreed. No sense whatsoever. And the judge from the TV show personally carries away the trophy? How much more idiotic can it get? Yes, and what about CCTVs, they have none when it suits them? Glad you mentioned it, everything is so exaggerated to the nth degree. I had stopped watching after Samar’s death as well but started re-watching after the Amreeka bit but this is getting beyond ludicrous.

I agree with every post here. The most annoying characters in this toxic show are Anupama, Paritosh, Aadya, and Shruti.

The less I talk about the titular character, the better. Everything about her is downright irritating and unrealistic.

Aadya's hatred is to the extreme. Showing a teenager cursing her mother is unacceptable, no matter what.

Shruti is also hopeless. A positive, modern, and educated woman is shown so deseparate to marry a guy who doesn't love her. Her delusional thinking that marriage will change everything is beyond my comprehension.

Last but not least, Paritosh conspiring and celebrating his own mother's downfall is too much! Anyways, it was Anupama's fault! Who asked her to hire him as a waiter in the restaurant, when she knows how bad he is. His recruitment also made the other waiters insecure. Maybe that's why Rahul may have done the cockroach mess, though it is not clear yet who is the real culprit.

Overall, an extremely negative show that is not spreading any good message to the society. As a mother, I will never allow my kids to watch this show. They will only learn to disrespect parents and women.

Kya itna aasan hai khaane mein cockroach daal Dena woh bhi haath se pakad itne staff ke saamne

Action law to baat ki baat hai muje to abhi tyu. Guthi nahi suljhi ki cockroach khaana mein kaise aa gaya when there are other staff are also there and moreover over food is still hot .

You nailed it. Its so appalling to see to how the makers conceive things. I am in the UK. I reported an Indian restaurant for its food handling and hygiene. The Food agency then inspects the restaurant without informing them. If they find issues as reported, they scale down the food hygiene rating (between 0 to 5, 5 being the best).

The restaurant will be given some period to make changes and will be visited again.

They have to mandatorily display the rating on the door and is shown at all online merchants (like uber eats). So its down to customers to eat from there.

Pattharbaazi, seriously?? Rajan Shahi couldn't think beyond streets of Mumbai, India. And I am from Mumbai basically. I have seen best to worst places in Mumbai. I wonder if such hooliganism ever happened there also. People wont eat there. But stone pelting, it blew off my mind.

Everything about this show is so negative. And its definitely not a family show.

Ex husband lusting after his ex wife in front of his platonic girlfriend and teenaged daughter.

A teeaged child scheming against the mom she hates, to the extent that she rips the diary, goes on a rampage each time, shouts, screams and very importantly curses her so openly. And father does nothing to treat her except get the same mom to look after her. Therapists, psychiatrists do not exist in US.

Every character is a carelessly, thoughtlessly sketched sample that you wont ever find anywhere.

The protagonist, God knows (perhaps even God won't know !!!) what she wants to do in life. Everytime she takes an Udaan, it results in a plunge nosedown.

More than that the actress portraying the character has made no positive efforts over so many years to improvise. So everything about her is annoying, starting from her talking to her walking. She is so super annoying for every word she utters, every tear she drops and every drama she does.
