I just remembered colors had another show called Dil Se Dil Tak with Sidhart and Reshmi as leads who were happily married couple in the show and Jasmin was the third lead/angle, but they made the wife Reshmi a vamp and made Jasmin’s character succeeding in getting the married guy

remember lavaniya from ipkknd she was a gem man how well she took it when she released k arnav is not her anymore ... she was so awesome 👌 why can't they make some wholesome shows like ishqbaaz and sasural gainda phool why this cheapad pan in everything it all started with that cheap drama on colors in which darishti was there n shakti character was an ass lusting over her and her character was also cheap taking the husband of your bestie ewwww how pathetic you can get 🙄

Love triangles and third wheels have been as old as itv. They were there 20+ years back. It has nothing to do with silsila which was not even a love triangle but actually a concept based on ema. Shakti and Drashti did a decent job given what they were given. It was something different than the usual stuffs on itv and realistic on what’s very common irl. This recent trend of one man stuck between two women seems to have started from Ghum after it became very famous. Though there always used to be love triangles, Ghum took it to another level where the third angle was given an almost equal role as the other two leads and the ML had better communication and understanding with her than with the FL. Since then sitara has been using that formula in other of its shows.

I don't mind love triangles as long as the characters are interesting and executed well like in KTH, KYPH, etc. But not like the types of KZK where Bajaj was criminal yet was never exposed throughout the whole show. He kept leads separated, did crimes but was whitewashed and the Beyhadh’s love triangle which had the most irritating and fakest positive saanjh who would ruin the experience of watching the episodes. Or the recent GHUM2 where boring Reeva was forced on viewers and given overdose of her just when leads had gotten married. The focus should’ve been on leads than a boring third angle character which eventually resulted the show going from number 1 trp show to number 4. I loved/liked the third angles in KTH and KYPH despite shipping the main couple as the third angle characters were interesting and/or too sweet. I actually bad for them to not be able to with the person they loved.

Sorry on this but i don't agree with you on this silsile was a crap and they tried to show and justify crap and extramarital affair...nothing decent about dancing in rain and lusty watching and falling in love ... And instead of stopping him the girl went on cheating bro 😒

I didn’t say it was justified. I said the show was good as it was something new and realistic. It is fine if you didn’t like it. I didn’t like the ema part too, but I liked the performances and watching something new and realistic.

No no, back then triangle shows in Colors were still better, Rashmi's character just acted to be bad since she was suffering from a chronical disease. Later she died then the other two married. Rashmi left the show due to some reasons.

Also Colors had a show named Silsila which was a clear case of cheating but in that show everyone got their Karma, Mauli whose husband cheated her with her best friend moved on in her life with a new man and chose him over her ex husband who came back to her after Nandini(the best friend) died.

Now it's all crap!
