How is this morally different than what Ruhi has been doing?

This is a dream.

Abhira is not married to anyone.

Arman is not married to anyone.

Ruhi and abhira ke cases are poles apart.....😂

Ruhi married rohit to stay close to armaan...she emotionally manipulated him to prioritise her...😂 Bhai similarity hai kahan??😂

I think the difference lies in whether you try to repress your inappropriate thoughts or act on them ..we are all humans ..there are desires embedded deep in our subconscious that sometimes surface ..we saw in the office sequence when the three of them are locked together that Ruhi had an extremely inappropriate dream about her brother-in-law ..while he may have been her ex, in that moment he was her b-i-l and hence any relationship between them would bear the taint of incest …despite that Ruhi, driven by jealousy at the sight of Armaan and Abhira seated in close proximity, went and plonked herself next to Armaan and tried to cuddle with him..similarly, she was overcome by her physical urges and flung herself into his arms at Ruhani Palace..that was when her husband had not even been recognised as dead by the family ..that the family has no right deciding if someone should be declared dead is another issue altogether ..anyway, while Abhira’s dream was inappropriate considering she was witnessing her ex-husband about to be engaged to another, she never acted on this impulse or urge and tried to push herself close to him or disrupt the event ..she merely walked away as any person who has a moral core would ..so while Ruhi and Abhira entertained inappropriate thoughts, only one of them acted on it …therein lies the difference between Abhira and Ruhi …Abhira is able to see right from wrong while Ruhi is so consumed by her own emotions that she does not care if her thoughts and actions are moral or not ..!

As a viewer, while I find Abhira’s dreams embarrassing and unnecessary, it can’t be immoral cause they simply are dreams. You cannot control what you think, feel and dream about. Unless Abhira acts on those thoughts, or purposely try to sabotage Ruhi-Armaan relationship or do shit like marry Krish to stay close to Armaan, it cannot be considered immoral.

I think of hitting my boss with a bucket every day, unless I actually act on those thoughts it should not be a problem smiley36

Abhira ≠ Ruhi. These two characters being equally immoral, psychotic & selfish as humans ain't possible as Abhira doesn't know the tactics of manipulation, deception and getting things done by playing trauma drama. Armaan is Ruhi fiance' (not husband) via a marriage alliance arranged by his family while Abhira is his ex-wife whom he loves. Still, Abhira hugging Armaan isn't acceptable not because Armaan is half-committed to another zimmedari but because Armaan doesn't want Abhira in his life. If Armaan decides to back out (which spineless Armaan won't I'm 100% sure) after clearing things out with Abhira & they infom Ruhi about their change of heart too then that won't be cheating. If they continue with intentional meetups, hugs, doing rituals intentionally & not informing anyone else. Armaan getting married to Ruhi and Ar-Ab keeps doing all that Ar-Ru did, will be EMA for sure, obviously if their divorce is finalized, if it's not finalized yet (like Kaira) then whatever they do won't be counted as EMA.

To be honest Ruhi is dumb but she is not manipulative. If you have not watched please watch her mother to know how manipulative her mother was. If I compare Ruhi to her mother Ruhi has not even shown 0.1% of her traits. I am not a legacy fan nor her mother's fan. You can ask anyone here about how much problems I had with her until leap. But post leap she was turned into a sane character but when I compare her and Ruhi, Ruhi looks decent and sane. So Ruhi can be delusional, can be dumb, can be a psycho but she is not manipulative as she has locked her brain in the museum to do thatsmiley36
