I am watching GHUM Season 1 episode where Sai enters the Chavan house. The whole setup is entirely different.

• Sai is clear where she stands in her marriage with Virat.
• Virat is not a manchild/pushover. He was aware of the tradeoffs and prioritized his responsibility towards his mentor. He still stood with Sai and he is the one taking all the brickbats from the family.
• At least one person, Virat's mother open heartedly welcomes Sai into the family. She brings her food and feeds her by her hand. Their bond is instantaneous and all due to Virat's mother effort.
