Precisely. If he accepts the proposal then Abhira will give up altogether. Shes only hanging by a thread - she knows its one sided feelings. But the minute he says yes to marrying Ruhi, she will shut everything down.

And if it takes a Rohit to stop the wedding to Ruhi then he clearly doesn't care enough about Abhira to make her priority. So why should the FL of a show end up with a man like that who is not gonna pick her ?

I typed a long answer to your question but lost it all :( ..now I don’t have the energy ..but the answers are all there in the episodes …you just need to want to see them ..I think you have got much of it after watching the episodes like you yourself have posted ..they both believe that the other is only spurred on by anger, distrust and the need to reject ..at least Abhira has recognised her emotions and given it a name even if she can’t see what is triggering him..but Armaan is worse off since he can’t wvwn recognize what he himself is feeling …the blinkers need to come off and they will ..when and how is what we need to wait and see ..a case of two people who desperately want and need each other but the past ( not just Ruhi) is a barrier between them ..I think RP already said it ..he has feelings for Abhira but his past is a barrier ..he has to find a way to overcome it and he.has to want to ..and whenever that happens, Abhira should still be available and waiting ..if this happens, then they have a chance at a fulfilled life ..got to see if and how this happens ..!

Yeah, so, like, coming from a neutral perspective, I gotta say, there's no such thing as princess treatment in this show, or like, it barely exists in Itv, you feel me? When we talk about princess treatment, it's all about the FL getting everything handed to her on a silver platter. She's living the most cushy comfortable life, being pampered, put on a pedestal, getting all the attention, love, and support. She even gets her dream guy, and even when evil vamp stuff goes down, she still Wins nd ends up living happily ever after with the Ml.

But let's be real, does any FL of any show get any of that? Nah, she's out here struggling, getting treated like crap, cheated on, basically being a doormat. And if all else fails, they just use her to pop out the next gen of characters. It's like a never-ending cycle.

+1 atleast old itv shows fl was doormat but she had character growth. Now a days character had good arc in the beginning jab thak show khatham hoga ppl will start hating her 😂
