I think KKR, RR & SRH are certain. The 4th spot is a toss-up b/w CSK, RCB & LSG. I doubt that DD will get there

If Gurbaz is in, Salt would be out. There is no point dropping Starc, just when he's discovered his touch: Sakaria is no substitute for him: he can replace Vaibhav

Also, Gurbaz is the same sort of batsman as Narine, he's nowhere in the class of Salt. Once Salt leaves, an anchoring opener like either Venky, or Manish Pandey should fill in for him. That would also free up a spot for another overseas bowler

Else some teams will be weak and some will be strong

.

Think of Punjab. They've lost Bairstow, Livingstone and Curran to England already. Their last encounter is w/ RR in Guwahati, so maybe there, they can try out every overseas player of theirs who's just been warming the benches

It's still raining. Not much time left now for groundstaff to work with. They need at least 30-40 minutes to get the ground ready once it stops raining, and cutoff is at 10.56pm.

Suppose it was a LSG game today, the owner would have fought with rain Gods i guess.
