That reminds me of the show Gustakh dil Another bengali remake where the ML and FL get forcefully married while ML has a gf. then FL falls in love with ML. GF plots to separate, wins and FL leaves. ML and GF plan to marry but ML is more into FL and gets pissed FL is moving on with her studies ( she starts college) and gives all reasons to postpone engagement and wedding, finally realizing with his granny's help that he actually loves FL now and not his GF, breaks up with GF to go chase FL in her village.

This sounds like Imlie season 1 is it not ? 🤣

Exactly, there's just too much under wraps.... its become toxic baggage that we're carrying through. If makers want to keep toxicity alive, thoda kuch clear karke bhi woh toxic hi rakh sakte hain. Aisa nahi hai ki 1 or 2 revelations will cleanse this show & make it Divine. Even if this happens - I am confident makers need just 1 episode to get back to their TCity

Today, when she taunted him about Arshi and his private’mastiyan’ he retaliated as if she had given him gaali 😉 I think he himself can’t imagine Arshi and him being intimate.. 🤣😃

I don’t know about how he’s going to get through the big fat Bong wedding- the most happening page 3 event of Kolkata!!!

OK, now if I am being honest, was I happy that Ani looked annoyed? Ofcourse, but did I like the scene? Not really. I neither liked Jhanak dreaming Ani nonstop without break even with costume changes, nor today. I hope they keep her professional. But I guess they need someone to bring the jealousy track..😡 we need to be careful what we wish for? Well, Imlie season 1 is what would have happened in Gustakh dil had ML not openly told his family about his wedding to FL. That ML was like seeing and EK male lead most indecisive in a Leena G story.

This one came way back in 2013 during OG imlie era.

There is too much that's left in the ditches....like how Tejas had blackmailed her with gun, Arshi's involvement in it, how she slapped J thrice in the hospital & just abt So Much More. Why should it be Rahul's job or Jhanak's job to clear his misunderstanding whether intentional or not? I'd rather not involve Rahul in this at all to clear Ani's doubts.

Ani's realization for me has to come internally that he arrives at conclusions early as you hinted before. Otherwise, he will need proof from Jhanak and the other party every time something of this sort happens and it will be tiring to be a spouse/lover to someone like that tbh.

He wouldn't, which is why when she goes MIA time would have passed which would put him in a disadvantage. With this temperament, Jhanak's friends won't help him either and he cannot ask Raina's or Tejas for his ego.

These people have a better track record of covering loopholes unlike EK where cast members just vanish into thin air and whole pregnancy plots are left in limbo. I am sure they will come out eventually.

I agree. For Ani it has to come from internally.

Todays episode , I felt that even though ani is very mad and used all those harsh words for Jhanak, he knows that all of those are not true and Jhanak is not like that. She is just naive, he , his to satisfy his ego, he keeps taunting her in the worst way, but he didn’t believe even one word gang Jhanak said about her inviting ak into her room and offering herself to him. He just wants to hurt her bad , because he is crazy jealous. Yeah he maybe angry with her being so naive and worries that she will take a wrong step and get hurt too
