I don't connect with Diljeet at all because I don't like Yogi's acting at all. But u r right imo. Instead of giving a redemption track for Angad, they put Angad into trouble or made a sane character villain. Yes, that kidnapping, drug and all that nicely brushed the slap under the rug.

Also, I think here both Angad and Sahiba are being glorified no, by making Diljeet a villain? But we don't know yet let's see.. Tomorrow we might get clarity on this. Plus both Angad and Sahiba has also been butchered in the past to glorify other characters...(expecting schooling for this from the forum ) That's the problem with ITV. They destroy one characters to make the other character look good, instead of just writing them better. The easy way out.

Instead of saying he needs to improve his craft, people are bashing him left, right, and centre.

Angad never seemed to be a good person in the show. Even though they are working hard to make Diljeet appear terrible, he is still coming out looking better because he might be able to rescue his child despite having no money or communication with the kidnapper, while Angad is wasting time making Sahiba descend a trench because he could not hold a bag. Abusing Sahiba and declaring her guilty for the crimes of his entire family is the only thing he can do properly. After leap, he developed another new and entirely novel passion that is fixation with stranger's children. Sahiba and Diljeet aren't the most ideal parents, there's no two ways about it. However, Angad's actions ought to prevent him from being around children without supervision.

I felt Angad was problematic but not from the very start. But After Sahan's marriage yes.

He is definitely a walking Red Flag.

His entire character can be summed up as an abusive spouse who does not support or trust his wife in any scenario. Red flags indicate danger ahead. The man repeatedly abuses his wife and tosses her out after she miscarries. These are not warning signs or red flags, this is abuse. The worst possible things that could have happened to Sahiba in the marriage have already happened. All masks are off, there are no flags here.

I mean , I wouldn't say working in a tv show is art. Cookie cutter storylines, same glorified wife beater male lead and female lead with tolerance the size of Jupiter. But I don't like reality shows unless they are about music or dance.

The only difference between Angad and Veer is Veer was actually butchered, Angad was always like that. Angad got drunk and assaulted Sahiba long before Veer did same to Keerat, Veer in his short stint as a decent guy stood up more for Keerat than Angad ever did for Sahiba. Veer did not get Keerat, his victim got sense and escaped. Angad's victim is always ready for his abuse. Because one is male lead another side character. It is funny writers justified same scenes with male lead and did not even make him guilty while making side lead look evil (rightly) for it.
