Its a nice observation. It does look like he did something with his eyes but it seems accidental. Because otherwise they could have shown a brief wink or small smile when abhira walked over to drivers side. Something quick before Ruhi noticed.

Overall though would not change the cringe he's been upto.

Why is he asked to look uncomfortable with Ruhis gangaur behavior though if he's the one who has told her he'll marry her in 3 months?

He is coming across as unduly confused. We can even understand he's still getting over pyaar, soft corner even now also but he was firm he'd not be with her ever na. Why did that suddenly change?

I feel, today's promise hand holding & abhira overhearing armaan's dadi se baat karunga & ruhi telling abhira they were talking about her love life was parallel to ruhaani palace hug which she witnessed. She knew it was chitwali that day so it was easy for her to connect when revelation happened & she can co relate to this incident at the time of revelation that chitwali ka chitwala was giving promise.

Please, aisa hi ho makers, another intimate moment of armaan ruhi with abhira witnessing it n acting dump mein nahi dekh sakti

Also, the day he wins cases, he does not eat anything except Dadi's toffee. How cringe is this person?? No wonder he fell in love in 2 days.

What I felt was, he tried but Abhira didn't notice. It has her decision in the end to sit in the driver's seat, armaan almost gave up n was going to open the door when abhira came & asked him to move.

And then his dialogue to abhira while tearing the divorce papers ' tumhe ek baar mein kahan samaj aata hain, too much three much hota hain tabhi toh samajhti ho', something like that.

It could be coincidental also, & we are over analysing it. Aakhir armaan sa pendulum hi rahenge till ipl end. So no point in defending him based on a single clip
