Uploading my views on art and various profession that i replied in another post

Cooking is an art - not everyone can cook exceptionally well even after training. Either you can cook or not

Same with dancing, singing, writing poem or novel, painting and acting, giving speech, music etc

No human in world can really be taught all this in a class by anyone

Its inborn talent actually gifted by God no human can be really taught all this

Like picasso, shakespeare , munishi prem chand, michaelangelo, mozzart, mirza galib, kabir kisnne inko kuch bhi sikhaya hoga duniya mein apne aap talented the bhagwan ki den thi

You can never learn or be taught art in life - i have seen many ppl attend cooking class, music class, sining but not at all good in all that after years

Same way i know others never went to class are better cooks than 7 star chefs or very good at music or singing

Art andhar se hota hai ya nahi - koi tumko sikha nahi saktha usko to be exceptionally good at it - its only God gift talent

Just to show FL as career oriented they are making mockery of cooking, dancing, lawyer, doctor, UPSC ias etc

To become doctor you in MBBS 4 years you have no time first class is there 9 to 4pm than you have to do intern or practical training in hospital from 4pm to 8pm or 9pm after 1st year MBBS in a hospital with real patients than go study for exams later after 9pm. You hardly get to sleep in the 4 years of MBBS. Here ppl are marrying, romancing, family saas bahu issues etc doing everything other than studies. To pass MBBS subjects is no joke even after getting MBBS seat. I know in class of 100-60% fail in final exams in biggest colleges of metro city. Kyunki its tough subjects not like entrance CAT or NEET etc. Many bright students also cannot pass MBBS subjects in this life

Same way for UPSC you should like study 4 to 5 years 10-12 hours a day to pass it even if you are rank student as they ask essay writing, reasoning, gen knowledge, politics etc its not like you read subject books and pass. Here suddenly no effort person is declared IAS officer

Tha comes lawyer, you will be junior lawyer under senior for 20 plus yeras before arguing in court in front of judge. This abhira as intern will argue? A lawyer gets lakhs per hearing or SC lawyer gets crores for one appearance in court for few hours. If abhira does argument no one will give 100Rs for full day clients. To argue and win over opponent lawyer you must be very clever very knowledgeable etc years of exp required

Etiquette and manners? Especially when you are on an International platform apparently representing your country?

And that pat on her shoulder, self praise, those proud expressions, perfect narcissistic traits!

I don't have knowledge of cooking, lekin kya poori bina oil ke aaise phool sakti hai? vo bhi Rava ki poori?

Just asking for my knowledge

I have never cooked Poori with pure Rava, aaj tak Rava ka sirf batter banaya hai, anything with pure Rava will be hard to give shape and if at all it is Rava, with my very little understanding & experience of cooking, I believe it has to rest well to hold itself in proper shape & smoothness.

And bina oil ke poori pehle paani mein boil karke airfry karke aajkal log bana rahe hain, phool bhi jaati hai apparently but I have never tried this because chahe 2 drops hi ho, but oil ke bina wo authentic taste nahi aa sakta.

To kya madam sare rounds me vegetarian food banayengi? Kyonki ye cooking show vegetarian show to hai nahin (aise shows rare hi hote hain. Wo bhi vegetarian nahi, vegan. As being vegan is becoming popular in west). Cooking show kisi bhi desh ke ho, meat to usme included rahta hi hai. Almost in every episode.

Aur American show hai to beef, lamb, chicken, pork, duck, venison, fish, shrimp, crab, octopus, sea urchin, mussles etc (kai ke to mujhe naam yad nahi aa rahe) ye sab to hoga hi.

Of course I love Indian vegetarian food (I'm eggitarian btw) and everything. But we can't undermine/question/disrespect other cultures. No amount of bhasanbaji can't deny the simple fact that even if not for food purposes, we humans rely on animal's meat for literally everything. We just chose to be ignorant (casteist/classist/holier than thou) as we are not born to the class who has to deal with animal flesh and bones.

So.. if in coming episodes, Devi ji tries to lecture Gora log for their meat eating habits then it will be like crossing the line.

Of course meat consumption should be lower and the problem is consumerism and capitalism, not meat eating culture.

Also 65 to 70% of Indians eat non veg, so she will be telling most Indians they are wrong

This is her Undhiyu recipe

Yes, she was in Master chef India season 7, everyone there appreciated her cooking skills, but the problem was that she did not know any international cuisines and it was difficult for her to do presentation and to learn so many things because of the age factor and it becomes difficult for people to learn things after a certain age (not true for everyone, but for most of the people), so she was the first one to get eliminated, but she was not a bad cook, she was restricted, agar young age mei participate kiya hota aur chance mila hota toh shayad ye bohot aage badhi hoti.

However, she was/is so positive towards the life, I mean she is sooooo cute, plus she lost 2 of her kids when they were young, but she never cried about that unlike the female lead of this show, who always cries about something or the other.

everyone use to call her "baa" there.

And I mean isn't the point of an international competition to test various methods and techniques from all over the world?

But nope, yaha se toh aisi koi hope nahi hai ki thodi positively dusre cultures/cuisines ko bhi portray kar de.

dekho, Indian food mei baat toh hai, ye toh maanna padega

India's first female michelin star chef Garima Arora has often said in her interviewes that Indian food/cuisine is not one dimensional, it has various spices, methods and most of the ingredients have their inherent temperature, like jwaar, bajra, etc. Also the food is most of the time flavourful, and yes, naan and biriyani etc ke alawa bhi humare paas bohot kuch hai jaise green vegetables, fresh fruits, seasonal hota hai bohot kuch.

But at the same time, if you want to be recognized in an international platform then you need to know the international cuisine

ye chefs bevkoof thodi naa hain ki bechare itni mehnat kar rahe hain, they are literally working day and night to achieve perfection, aur yahan ye madam 2 ghante ki dish 19 minutes mei bana kar jeet jaengi.

I doubt isko international cuisine ke bare mei kuch bhi pata hoga, isko bola toh palak burger bana degi

Master chef ke contestants ko bhi bahar ki countries kaa khana banana padta hai, ye undhiyu bana kar kaise jeet sakti hai.
