Court Track KP Part 1:
Even though Armaan produced the call records and voice msgs proving Dadisa’s innocence to some extent, it was countered by Dev sir expertly. Email sent from Dadisa’s mail id and laptop, msgs, even few call records along with transaction details disproved Armaan’s defense.
On the final day, Abhira, with the help of an anonymous tip, found the evidences that could prove Dadisa’s innocence but made sure justice was served as well. The real culprit was Dadisa’s secretary who took bribe from the builder to make Dadisa a culprit to save their own skin as they wanted the plot by hook or crook. However Dadisa’s rigid policy was a hindrance for them.
Anyway, because of Abhira, Dadisa could be saved and the poor families also got justice.
After the final verdict, Dev and Abhira are seen talking . Dev thanks her for her hard work and her go getter attitude. He also thanks her for going above and beyond to bring justice. He rebukes her a little as she actually risked her life to prove that Kaveri Poddar was innocent even when their win was almost guaranteed. He said he was proud of her and Abhira thanked him. Dev asks her to accompany him and he will drop her home but she refuses. She thanks her boss and excuses herself. Dev leaves and Abhira also starts to leave when Armaan and Dadisa stops her.
Armaan was listening to the ongoing convo between Abhira and her boss. The easy camaraderie between them made Armaan jealous and sad. A sense of profound loss enveloped him. The kind of treatment he had subjected her to in the past few days haunted him. The absence of Abhira’s laughter, her numerous stories, her badbad, all seemed to break his heart in million pieces. The hollow eyes of Abhira, the accusations hurled at her, her tears, her silence, her indifference everything burned him. He was overcome by a deep sense of guilt. At that moment he hated himself more than anything else.
Dadisa stopped Abhira with pride in her eyes and love in her heart. Within these few months this small girl has managed to crack the impenetrable wall around her heart. She lost the case today but she felt victorious. She realized she has struck diamond with Abhira.
Abhira stops in her track and faces Armaan and Dadisa, two of the most important persons in her life. The two persons who have broken her heart, questioned her upbringing, insulted her dead mother, made a mockery out of her love and concern. She was done!
Dadisa, to her surprise though, thanked her. Praised her mother’s teachings and the kind of value she had instilled in her. Abhira felt almost nothing. She was happy that Dadisa was free of all the charges. But that’s all.
However, she needed to talk to Dadisa for one matter. She needed to go away for few days. Away from Armaan, from Poddars. She was drained and has requested 3 days leave which was approved readily. She wanted to visit her home, mussoorie . Her home needed to be sold and as the sole owner she was needed there.
Abhira has another reason for her little escapade. She wanted to think about her future and also about valid reasons to stay in the sham marriage. She was thinking of leaving Poddar house and Armaan for good. She didn’t want to burden Armaan anymore. With the kind of money she will get after the sell of her home, and her scholarship fund, she was sure she could handle her expenses and her life from now on. There was no need for her to stay in PH anymore.
She asked permission to visit her home town for few days. Armaan interjected, saying he would like to accompany her. Abhira vehemently denied his requests. She has Kipling uncle there and one of her college friend was in Udaipur at the time and was returning to Mussoorie tomorrow. She will go with him. There won’t be any problem, and if any kind of problem occurs, she will immediately inform Armaan. But he shouldn’t worry as there were no immediate threat to her. And she was well aware of Mussoorie and it’s peoples. Her friends, her uncle will be there as well.
The prospect of an unknown to him male friend of Abhira accompanying her when he has to sit at home doesn’t go down well with Armaan. The green eyed monster was making its presence felt. However apart from that, a sense of foreboding loomed over him. He was well aware of the kind of damage he had done, the kind of pain he had inflicted on Abhira. Somehow this brief separation felt like a lifetime of suffering and pain. +
