'Which tradition of Ramayana? Sankrit tradition doesn't say that.'

'Bro, wtf!'

Her beauty was renowned. There were princess from all over who wanted to win her hand in marriage.

As for Ravan's feelings, some things can also be inferred. He wanted Sita ji to accept him. After the initial abduction (and that's the word, not "kidnapping"smiley2), he did not try to force himself even though he could have. So that undermines your theory of "zidd". It started that way, but his feelings changed. And there are verses too, though I can't remember which ones now.

He couldn’t not have. Because Ravana has a curse on him which prevents him from touching the women who didn’t want him. Hence he was begging Sita for her consent.

Do you really want to bet on the kind of shit Deepika and Aishwarya would go throw if they are casted as Sita in any form let alone opposite Ranbir? Kidnapping jokes would look as knock-knock jokes.

Sai is very beautiful— everyone is. And even if not, ugly women do not deserve to be kidnapped either. If reverence towards Sita and anger against her kidnapper is contingent on whether the actor playing the character is conventionally beautiful or not, this movie should not be made. Period.

That's the version you might have grown up with. Not some of us.

Btw, it was ridiculous for some folks to use the word "kidnap" instead of "abduction" for what Ravan did. Look up the dictionary if one doesnt know the basic difference.

Deepika, Ash look regal and no one complaints if they come with such roles.....You are exaggerating things...Sai is cute in her way, just not suitable for this role...for eg, Kangana is a North Indian ,but i can never imagine her in Sita's role....

Lol ignore the distraction tactics. When there is no actual stuff, people do have to resort to such things.😅 clearly folks here have no clue about Ramayana or the complicated story behind the ‘abduction’ and the aftermath. Amar Chitra Katha hi padh lete.😆

They have a knack for doing that. Last time were crying about being discriminated by North people while also making several unsavoury racist comments towards North people in the same vein on the SRK thread . Fighting discrimination with discrimination smiley36
