Things are pretty clear that ab and ar are only fl and ml warna agar inhone ab ruhaan path choose Kiya tha Jo story about tak thi woh sab destroy ho jayegi

It shouldn't take kidnapping, getting hurt or even some lame jealousy

Areey, atleast if they would have showed them as college/childhood sweethearts toh armaan ka feelings samaj aata. It would be difficult to see his long time gf suffering a colorless life after her husband is presumed no more by family. Even a matured guy will get behaved irrationally sometimes. But we could have connected with him especially when he is in a contract marriage & it's not easy for him also to forget his love, their moments. Valid reason hain.
