The problem is Agastya - Imlie had this beautiful love story and the creatives brutally killed Agastya for their so called twist. Now they are struggling and they just don't know how to take the story forward. Yup Either Imlie season 4 aayega (how when the leads have not yet fallen in love is beyond me) or a new show altogether.

Waise I am really surprised ki the rumors of new Gen are coming in now. Where was the team when the trps were falling after Agastya ka death was shown. They had about 7+ weeks to course correct and still the creatives persisted with the nonsense Reddys and Surya - Imlie ka story. They had lot of chances to course correct and show Agastya being alive. The creatives arrogance in not showing the one storyline which would have saved the show is what is irking me.

If Sai is out of the show then I am out of it. Hopefully Sai will have time to take up KKK14 and then he can come back in a new show after IPL.

The best way now is to bring back Agastya from the dead and end the show on a good note. They haven't yet showed Surya-Imlie romance.

GossipsTv article has mentioned two possibilities

First one is generational leap. Agastya can't come back because Imlie is married to Surya with all rituals. If Agastya returns audience will feel cheated for Agastya love. It's not west that marriage can be broken. Sindoor and mangalsutra holds lots of importance for trp audience. So if it's generational leap then Surya and Imlie love story will be story in extreme fast forward method and consumation will happen thus paving way for gen4.

The second one GossipsTv mentioned is simpler time leap which is layman's language is 5 years approx. Imlie already knows that Surya Anjali love each other and now with Agsatya death reason revelation there's almost nil chance of her loving Surya. So she may unite Surya Anjali as her forgiveness gift to Surya and move away from their lives. They can meet after 5 years when maybe Anjali has died leaving behind a kid who will then reunite Surya imlie something like kuch kuch hota hai movie or bodyguard.

Basically this. Time jump at first with the story then gen leap maybe. Or maybe a completely new story.

Bringing reddys into the show proved to be ultimate doom for the show. The show could have been still salvage if Chaudharys were there. You are expecting the audience who have seen Chaudharys from the last 8 months to suddenly accept some random reddys in purwaiya in cricket crazy season of IPL. Delusions at its peak

It was always a gamble. Even in season one, the views significantly decreased when they exited the Tripaathis and showed only Rathores. Audience connect with OG families no matter what.
