It's a bottle with little marble ball(goli) in it. The pressure created by the carbonated liquid seals the bottle by forcing a glass marble up into the neck of the bottle.In order to open the bottle you have to press the goli which releases the pressurized gas.. Mostly ,lemon n orange flavour were popular..


I don't see them much now..It's not popular with gen z..It was popular with 90s kids1000001601.jpg

U still get it in some places...I had it last year when we went to kanyakumari, south u get it .. Mumbai u don't find such bottled sodas...no idea about other places

I just had it last week at a halal thai place in Carrollton Texas. Idher bhi hai yeh ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Yes, recently I saw a new brand with name "Mr. Goli " in a mall.. They have variety of flavours n some were really good..but nothing can taste better than the originals..

That reminds me of doodh candy too..That and orange candy were the only candies we used to get in our granny's village..More than us kids, it was our granny who used to love doodh candy n literally used to run to get it whenever the candy bhaiyya used to come..I miss those days a lotsmiley27

Yes...u still get those candies in villages...even that ice cream with sevai orange flavour, orange candies too, imli goli too...just love these
