I had seen so much criticism of Ani's character on X. Many are asking why he is not breaking his relationship with Arshi.

I don't think it is that easy. If he breaks his relationship with Arshi, the one who is going to suffer more is Jhanak. Will Shristi allow Jhanak to breathe peacefully? She will make her life a living hell (of course she is already living in a hell). Moreover, if he breaks up, the first person who is going to blame him is Jhanak. And even if he expresses his love for Jhanak, will she reciprocate it? A big no. In all this chaos, how will he protect Jhanak? So that's why, first, he wants to make her financially independent and also try to make her a strong person who can survive without anyone's help.

I don't watch this show but I agree with your opinion no other ML can be worse than Ghum 2 ML I am one unfortunate person watched that crap fircfew months ...Now I read through forums only because of watching that I developed allery of ITV for a while

I agree with ur take I mean that could be. Though in my opinion I feel Ani s equation with jhanak has nothing to do with arshi. His vision for jhanak is separate and his plan with arshi. Ani thinks he loves arshi so he doesn't leave her. He thinks he wronged her so he wants to give her everything. He never intropected his feelings for jhanak.Thats the only reason for not leaving arshi.

I think there are couple of reasons.

first and foremost he didn’t realize his in love with Janak. According to him he is doing it to protect her from Tejas and make her independent so that she can confront her dad. His changed feelings are not yet realized or acknowledged by him. At this point, he does not have any reason to break up with Arshi other than the fact she is being evil to Janak.

His father in law had given truama to many of Ghums1 audience...only because of ghum I took a year break from ITV.

I had seen few tweets with what right today he held Jhanak's hand. If he feels he has rights on Jhanak why can't he breakup with Arshi.

I left the show because of off screen cringe 😬 after leap....once off air continued watching

Not really watching any thing now ... Every show there 🔺️....Here Janak also triangle 🔺️ ....
