I hear Ani wants to dump Arshi for Jhanak? Our glorious ML is finally going from grass to grace in lying skills! Itâs fun for drama, but I donât know how I feel about Ani being so morally malleable. Tbh, I think itâs my standards due to ITV catering. I also watch Mexican TV shows and lemme tell you, they have no qualms about their leads being all sorts of shitty and itâs funâŚitâs just that I donât trust ITV with this. If they are going to give us an ML with a morally flimsy attitude, we have to be certain that Jhanak is ALWAYS the beneficiary and never the victim..Aniâs silence isnât stellar, so they have to bring back his devil may care attitude and make him channel everything into supporting Jhanak as her partner. It would be interesting if that can be the basis of the show, where Aniâs obsessive affection and self-righteousness becomes the greatest villain of his romance with Jhanak, who wants to stick to the right side. From saying Arshi is busy to trying to bribe judges and ruin opponents, it would be fun to see how Ani sheds his outer and inner self-image of being the most decent but sheds it so much, that he begins to loose any sort of compass. Aniâs self-serving character makes him very aware of threats to himselfâŚand now, if Ani starts to see Jhanak as an extension of himself but she doesnât want that, it will cause internal problems and give room for demons in his ears I.e Arshi to enter. Ani, I can see, is the sort that when he breaks things such a way above with Arshi, he will keep her at length because he is aware that she can be harmful to Jhanak - but he will still try to be friends despite Jhanak because wellâŚAni decides whatâs best for Ani and no one else decides that even though he decides whatâs best for others tooâŚgosh. But when he fights with Jhanak over certain things, his ego will ignore his reasoning (as we know) and he listens to Arshi who obviously has no good news for Jhanak and Aniâs relationship, as well as Jhanakâs wellbeing. This show keeps showing us how bad Jhanakâs mental health has gone with Boses when she has no ties. Imagine when she falls for Ani, imagine all the sweet scenes we would get of his promises to her (damn Krushal will kill such scenes), imagine how Ani starts to assert that âshe should listen to himâ, âhe is doing it for her goodâ, even when she doesnât want it, imagine Jhanak growing as she meets people and starting assert herself which threatens AniâŚ.I will say if the news that Ani is going to dump Arshi without warning for Jhanak is true, and if Jhanak does accept him, it would be because Ani has assuaged her guilt and told her he would âfix thingsâ and that âhe loves her and he knows he is doing wrong, but he canât live without herââŚI keep saying it how Jhanakâs young age and sheltered upbringing, despite all the trouble she faced, hasnât ever exposed her to feelings of love from a man. And this is not Tejas, who by all standards is a no-go. This is Aniruddh Bose, this is her sirji, who in her mind is a good man who has done so much for her. I CAN SEE right now how Jhanak weakens when Ani starts to tell her his deeds ( we know he loves this), about how he was acting and oh so lovingly, did everything to protect her. Ani has to say a few words to woo Jhanak. He is handsome, he is confident, he is ruthlessâŚand he is our ML, so of course, he does mean what he is saying. He is not decieving Jhanak that he loves her, he is just subtly pushing and manipulating her into lowering whatâs acceptable to her so that she can accept him. Imagine if as Jhanak grows, she doesnât allow this to repeat itself. Ani is going to feel threatened. Whatâs unique is that Ani has no base threat of Jhanak concerning her career, infact, he does genuinely want to make her succeed, but what will threaten him is that Jhanak no longer listens to him and starts to set boundaries on what can be done for her. We know how Ani met Jhanak, we know the power dynamics, we can understand why he fell in love with her because unlike his family and Arshi, Jhanak is young and beautiful but not conceited, Jhanak is talented but not rude, Jhanak is powerless but has innate strength, Jhanak scolds and is firm with him but still respects him immenselyâŚ.Jhanak is driving that guy crazy without even trying. Ani gets to get the joy of having a person who is talented and beautiful, doesnât disturb his basic moral compass as Arshi does, isnât passive enough so that he feels drained, is sincere and has enough inner richness so he knows that he will have a supportive and loving partner, but isnât powerful or world wise enough to wholly stand up to him or challenge what he says. Ani is getting what we call the total package in current Jhanak. Loving and being loved by such a person is heavenly for someone like Ani who wants sincerity and wants to give sincerity too - but only how and when he wants. Imagine when Jhanak starts to challenge him, this time now with vibes or guesses, but with facts. Imagine when Jhanak meets other people that challenge her in ways that Ani cannot or doesnât want to. Imagine Ani who is getting spent trying to get her validation in his actions, at a cross between hating that she makes him work so much and going crazy because he knows he absolutely cannot lose someone like Jhanak from his life. And what will Jhanakâs decision be? Will she try to change Ani? Can you really change someone in a relationship? Will Ani change? Or will she get to know of his more deceits and what will she do after? Will she forgive him? Will she not? Will she decide that itâs not Arshi, or even Shristi, but itâs the person that she loves most, Ani, that is a threat to her career and values? Will she separate from him even if it hurts worse than death? Yeah, someone call those dummies in scriptwriting and tell them Paula is here to save the day.
