are gratuitous shirtless scenes now a regular HUM thing

started watching dil pe dastak and 42 seconds in, i get this (exhibit a). Isse pehle who can forget danish being shirtless in rah-e-junoon (exhibit b) and bilal in kuch ankahi (exhibit c).

in all 3 scenarios, shirtless hona was wholly unnecessary. ye kya chal raha hai hum tv walon

exhibit b: ReJ

exhibit c: kuch ankahi

I only checked out Bilal 😂🥰 The Raah e Junoon one was too ick and trashy for me 🤢 and haven’t seen the other show.

I’m not opposed to the trend though but only if done well and subtly 😛

Yes, I feel the same.

In the TB poster where Wahaj is holding Yumna, when I first saw that, I thought it was Zahid bcz Wahaj's full face wasn't visible and the posture, side frame, expressions looked like Zahid.
