Thanks not only to the lead actor but to the audience as well who was hell bent ki without the lead actor we don’t want the show hence Gul and channel decided to shut it down varna tho aaghe ki story and replacement lead was found and scenes were shot as well !!

See the way he see it - it would have been logical if they showed Surya was the one who died that day. Surya also got posting to Purwaiya that same day as Agastya and Binni ka shaadi. So the next day he was coming when he had the accident. Also someone from Surya’s family can have changed the bodies. I don’t know why the creatives had to erase the whole Agastya and Chaudhary family.

If we closely analyse this particular twist of Surya posting in purwaiya and Agastya imlie accident on Same day ,anybody can understand that it was written just because both guys (Agastya and surya) should have accident and only one should have survived or maybe both with one being in coma who could Come back and clear the misunderstandings and reunion of Agastya imlie would have happened.

They were heavily confident of this Agastya death working but trps didn't supported them. So to now save their face they are wiping out the existence of Agastya and Chaudharys in name of revamp

It’s true that Chaudhary family trp drama didn’t work.. all tracks were not well received. They brought in the various family tracks late into the story like Meera, kairi etc.

And all the important family tracks like rich boy-poor girl, bar girl, contract marriage reveal were handled poorly because the writers were more focussed in showing something else.
The writers made a lot of mistakes early on for the family drama. And when they wanted family drama, later, it didn’t work out.
I think that is why the family itself they are changing. Chaudhry’s have no drama..

they had multiple sub plots in beginning but execution was poor . And neither they engaged audience with other supporting characters apart from Sonali who could hold audience attention when leads aren't there in the scenes. This is also one of the reason why Imlie time spent is less as compared to other shows

dadi won't be retained I think because new dadi is coming who will replace the position of strong matriarch in the show. So old dadi ka koi significance nahi hoga. Every show doing good in trps whether "lost in love" or legacy show has a strong matriarch. Imlie S3 also started with this idea only that's why they made Annapurna Chaudhary deciding factor in Agastya imlie contract marriage.

Exactly - Surya ka introduction was on the night of Agastya - Binni ka marriage and Surya saying he is coming to Purwaiya in the morning. In the morning we had Agastya and Imlie ka marriage. So it would have been very logical to show both Surya and Agastya having accident at the same spot and then one one could have survived. It would have even made sense if Malti or someone else changed the clothes on Surya - Agastya and got Agastya home and gave them memory repressing drugs. We could have had some clues given either with Malti ka inner monologue that she and her brother ended up in Agastya ka house and that would tell the audience that Surya is Agastya with memory loss.

Imlie and Surya could have married off and Imlie could have finally understood that this is her babu only and we could have had a good love story. But nope they killed Agastya which was probably the one thing that the audience were attached too and now since trps did not come they are wiping out the entire existence of Chaudhary's and Agastya and are giving Surya the majboor vulnerable lead ka part.

So Surya would help Imlie achieve her dreams and Imlie will take a long time to move past Agastya and then bam the truth of Agastya ka accident will come out and Imlie will walk off as she can not forgive Surya for the death of her babu. Later on we will see them getting together when Imlie will finally leave the past in the past.

The episode was good from performance point of view. Sai and Adrija are doing so well. It must be difficult for them also to act according to a new narrative everyday.

Just going with the flow helps me enjoy the episode more. I am not going to invest any more into the story. Aur kitna tone ka and for what?

Infact this is how most of us started of here. We were here only to appreciate Sai in a Gul show…story, jodi, family didn’t matter to us. Bas, ab se yahi follow karne ka.

Btw, did Surya say Pyaar ka scccha vaada? Or was it shaadi ka saccha vaada? 🤔

I thought it was Imlie ka saccha pyaar and Surya’s saccha vaada for shaadi.

While I am game to watching the show for our leads, I have 2 major issues:

1. If they wanted to make Surya and Imlie end game (I am fine with devar marrying bhabhi), why show Agastya and Imlie ka detailed love story, something that was so beautiful that it is difficult to move on and accept Surya and Imlie.

Agastya Imlie were endgame only. That's why till the last episode the Satyavan Savitri reference was made for their relationship. But makers ko unka Agastya death track work karega yeh confidence le dooba

2. As an audience, I don’t understand the need to kill off Agastya if Sai was continuing the show. That too when Surya ka character doesn’t compare to choti ungli ka nakhoon of Agastya. The least they could have shown is Agastya with memory loss.

It has now become zidd of writers to prove that they could make Surya character work too. Woh kehte hai na zidd ego bahut badi cheez hoti hai . Agsatya is a just a character they have got done with.

Anyway, kudos to the writers for not taking the route of hate marriage. That would have been an easier path but they chose to do a majboori wali shaadi so that both of them are actually tied down to it. I particularly liked how today’s episode brought to light all perspectives through the characters - Imlie, Surya, Dadi, Sonali and Chutki. It made absolutely sense.

Now that audience know that Surya was partially responsible for Agastya death hate marriage would made audience hate Surya even more. Kam se Kam yeh majboori wali shaadi se and Surya being a supportive husband to Imlie will evoke sympathetic feelings for Surya as a character in audience mind

Only wish is with Anjali in the picture (dejavu), don’t show him forgetting his wedding vows for the sacche pyar ka waada.

writers ne dialogue mein twist maara hai. Surya said "sachhe pyar ka vaada kiya hai". he didn't said sachcha pyar kiya hai with Anjali. It's like he made a promise to fall in true love with her but actually isn't in love with her right now

Yes it is Saccha Pyaar for Imlie and Saccha Vada for Surya(I am guessing he is referring to the promise he gave to Dadi amma)

Imlie said " Sacha pyar kiya hai " while for Surya it was " sache pyar ka vaada". Surya isn't love with Anjali but has given a promise that whenever he will fall in love it will be only for Anjali. That's what my interpretation of dialogue is.
