Read my full quote on the previous page. I just said he's betrayed Rohit and is main reason for Rohit's death and one day he will feel consequences for this. My point is I can see where he's coming from by not telling abhira about the truth

Like you pointed out, the blame for Rohit’s plight lies fair and square on Arman. Given that he is so guilt ridden, I find it surprising that he has conveniently brushed aside Rohit’s disappearance and possible demise. I think it is a case of out of sight out of mind. Ruhi is in front of him and so he remembers his guilt towards her, since Rohit is gone the guilt is gone too.

Maybe the writers think the angst is justified and exciting but the truth is it is disgusting given their two minute love story and the fact that they have both conveniently forgotten Rohit’s existence till two days ago. I cannot imagine that Yeh Rishta is showcasing this kind of immoral and cheap antics by the duo. As much as we like to deny, Arman has been dishonest since the day he hid the truth of his relationship with Ruhi. Guess there is a first time for everything.

I wonder what Armaan would feel if Kiara or Charu's husbands let their bhabhiji do everything he lets his bhabhiji do with him? He would be the first in line to beat them up. smiley39

I am a legacy viewer, although I skipped the second and third seasons, and I never thought we would have this kind of immorality on display in this show. Guess there is a first time for everything.

They are not justifying the immorality, though. If you see the narrative of the story, they have clearly shown time and time again and again through Madhav Manisha Abhira that there will be big consequences for this, especially for Armaan. That's the plot of this generation. I think he subconsciously knows he destroyed Rohit's life and is the main reason for Rohit's disappearance (check his conversation with Ruhi on the lawn the other day) but is running away from the truth. I will be disappointed with this plot if Arman escapes the consequences o, but this won't happen. Look how Charu, without any of his mistakes, threw out this bloodline on his face. Once the truth is out, Kaveri will do things far worse.

Call me a sadist but I am really looking forward to that day. The lovers need to be shown the mirror, more so Armaan. I say this because Armaan is Rohit’s brother and should have had his best interests at heart. Rohit is no one to Ruhi and while her selfishness cannot be condoned, it can still be explained.

Armaan at this stage is definitely not a suitable candidate for Abhira. That's established.

If he comes clean to her, the whole plot of show goes for a toss. Right now he doesn't love her. I want to see the version of Armaan who is in love with Abhira and how he reacts to Ruhi then. At that stage he might not tell Abhira about Ruhi coz he will fear losing her.

Right now is the best time. But right now both don't love each other. Both think they will part ways after one year. So no point telling her also.

So, he can tell Ruhi everything, including their personal and private matters, because he loves her?

But cannot be honest to wife, who is becoming friend/family. It's clear that his wife has raised her doubts, questioned him, but he still won't budge is little off limit. There is nothing for him to lose if Abhira knows about their past, and if that came from him, nothing makes things easiersmiley17

... And I think we are mostly cursing plot of the show glorifying lingering feelings of Jeth-Bhabhi... Armaan is part of that plot... For a change plot could have been clean and open "Rishta"... Where he would have cleared to her/trusted her, they could have come together to help each other. You don't need those dumb high voltage drama around revelation. Rishta honestly, was never that kind of show.

As @Chaitu said, makers will never clearly tell us what Armaan feels and it seems like he still deeply loves Ruhi... But hiding it from his wife, these two were in cottage together hugging where Abhira saw them and she didn't go in rounds and asked him directly. That's her trust on him. She really trusts Armaan but Armaan doesn't even respect Abhira in my opinion, so trust is far off.

I think more than it is guilt for ruining her life as we can't take hold of deep feelings as he able to take hold of his feelings

Ruhi's selfishness cannot be condoned or explained at all. It's wrong, end of story.
