Yes colorful looks better in the long run. Though I am loving this banner too for now.. See the winner's comment in the winner announcement thread 1st page, she had shared the other entry with colors too. It looks so damn beautiful! How I wish the theme was not restricted to b&w only!

Black and white theme banner ke liye itni appealing nahi lagi. Black & white is more effective in capturing the mood or closeups of individuals or couples and certain other scenarios. Banners need to vibrant and colourful imo.
Happy Kiara got an award in this time to showcase on her mantle !! This is what I wanted to see in her hand and her smile. And she got it by audience votes as viewers choice. 
About time he got signed, but just a 1 year deal? 
What drama and nonsense ... Didn't she just do a movie with SRK?

@B - Couldn't have said it better!
I wish b&w and colour both options were allowed, then people would have decided what they want.
Making a banner takes so much of efforts and then seeing the negative feedback must be hurtful to the banner makers. 😦 For now, I am loving this new banner though.

Couldn't have phrased it better! (Borrowing your words ) Each one of the participants must have put so much of the efforts (no matter B&W or coloured) so, we should respect that fact. But as they rightly say, one cannot please everyone!
However, some people need to be more careful with their choice of words, that is the least they can do, right 😅
